You can find some people...... my friend was a bad mother and had her kid taken from her and force-adopted away from her when he was about 3. 10 years later his photo was in the newspaper as he'd been photographed in the school football team, so she knew where he went to school from that ..... and she knew where he was living and what his last name was. It was a small village, she'd only have had to turn up to be able to find/spot him within an hour or so. They'd kept his first name and he was very distinctive looking (looked just like her).
There are, sometimes, ways for people to track some people down.0 -
OH's adopted cousin got random letter from biological mother - I thought that wasn't meant to happen. Name/ address not meant to be released without consent?
Plus school videos DVDs websites etc.
Remember the Darwin family from the East Midlands who thought that Panama had a different internet from the UK?:D
The world's getting better connected more and more and I'd imagine privacy's becoming more of an aspiration than a reality.:oThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Today is not starting well. (Those with a queasy nature do not read on)
Found maggots in the upstairs bin (yuck yuck yuck) then, while getting a heavier duty bag to deal with this, kiwi found maggots in the upstairs bin...yum yum yum. This resulted in a terrible chain of trying to clean up remaining stuff and being sick. All the while kiwi getting more and more excited.
As a result of this ickiness on this muggy morning the Cheryl cole hair, which stayed pretty good all night (careful scrunching into a shower cap and turban) got scraped in to a bun to keep it out of the way now hanging string like and I'm not sure what to do with it. Brush it out I guess.
I want a bath...this weather has to be gently warm and freshly scented bath weather if you have just had your hair done.
On the plus side I found the LBD I have been looking for for weeks and weeks and know where the shoes and bag are that I want to wear with it are. I'm just not sure I'm up to going out, lol.0 -

Should we petition Martin to introduce larger mailboxes or is there a magic way to forward messages to an email account?
In fact thinking about it MSE should launch a webmail/email service, what better advertising than lots of people sending emails from at mse.org.uk?I think....0 -
