    Any particular context?
No ... just random as the news had started and opened with the fact that US/UK are 'backing' one side of Syria and Russia are backing the other side.

At 18 he'd not understand a word you said .... so would just get back to the office and when asked how it went he'd say "Mad lesbian with PMT".

Are you Emma Willis? Not sure why but she reminds me of you :shrugs:

    Any particular context?

There was a female barrister from London on the news the other day and I was convinced it was you, until I noticed her hair didn't look natural, well her roots looked darker but...

    Where's my Lydia quote gone?!

Think you are getting there Lydia and don't be hard on yourself

It's been a weird couple of years in certain similar countries and I doubt if it's much to do with chance.

The Turkey one could be the biggest if it escalates, in my mind. :(

As my Granny would say, "someone dyed her roots black"?

    What was the context?

It definitely wasn't me on the news this week (-:
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I forget. I'm not a big fan of news and I was more looking wondering if it was you :D

    Maybe next time lol

Could it have been something about, erm, change in policies and how they will affect society.

    Ok, I'm guessing :o

I'm sure, had it been me, that my clear, incisive logic would have enraptured you.

    Or not.

The fact that Syria's got Russia's only Mediterranean naval base pretty much guarantees unlimited Russian backing. Mind you, my mate who did a proper history degree, always said the one golden rule of History was you never invade a country during a civil war. Hope the charisma vacuums that are pretending to govern us heed that advice.
