Can I join too? I'll sit in the corner and keep my grumpiness to myself so long as I can bring the junk food I just picked up from the supermarket
Hehehehe
Maybe I am a little grumpy. My legs have been difficult today (particularly pesky right knee which is giving me so much grief intermittentY these days) and parent is trying to help by offering to fetch things and I'm pointing out that I have coped for a number of years and intend to cope for a number of years more. While shuffling around the kitchen with my kitchen chair being used as a zimmer (which causes its own problems, even though its a light chair its not as light as a zimmer). Clearly its not that ungrumpy to just ask parent to fetch a bowl from the dining room instead of me doing it.:o
Anyway, I have compromised a lot by saying yes to parent collecting dh. (Normally dh would get a taxi if i cannot drive. and I think parent feels not appreciated when we don't ask them to do things like that) anyway, I might be able to dance and walk and drive again in ten minutes:D0 -

I haven't forgotten you PN (as if anyone could)
How about this phone http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/nokia-lumia-520-7-50p-m-talkmobile-poss-145-for-two-years-inc-35-cashback-cpw-1528529
I know it is a contract but it means you get minutes/texts/data for 2 years for little more than the price of the phone on its own. Being a Nokia it should be pretty robust and being windows it should talk to the PC pretty easily. 5MP camera, I haven't read any reviews to how good photos it actually takes.
1] Why haven't you compared the two cameras for me?
2] In that link, somebody said another way of getting the phone that worked out cheaper.... or is it wrong? " Buy the phone outright from Carphone Warehouse...and then buy an Ovivo sim for £15 - giving 150 mins, 250 texts & 250mb of data every month - with nothing further to pay. Total cost - £125..."0 -

Good to see you back old boy.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I think with ovivo you may have to top up 15 quid each year and when you use the data I think you have to watch adverts? Also some doubt their business model is sustainable.
This is a camera comparison page but I'm not sure if it helps:

It can quickly add another £2000-3000 or more to a lot of bills. Plus, with capacity limits, it can alter where you can get married -v- where you want to be.
I don't think this is a wedding where expense is an issue. They are hiring an entire court building! And the invitations consist of a purple booklet with all the printing in gold, too.
Think "bling" rather than "budget"....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

That could make it even more expense an issue... Hope you frame the wedding invite so you can be grateful you were asked.:D
