I understand the concept of not inviting children...but not inviting long term partners of guests?0 -
Does anyone use this app:http://tvcatchup.com/android.html
Btw, other threads whink my username sounds Russian but you've made it sound Romanian!
I don't myself, but a few techie people I know rave about it (& complain about how much stuff they still need to get around to watching!inspector_monkfish wrote: »Hi guys. I'm back :-)

Football is better not discussed (except by PM!;):o)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

They stretch and shrink with me. They are comfy enough to nap inand casual.
Sadly they are getting a bit past it now, one has a couple f holesso I schlep around home in it.
I've got a coupld of jersey dresses similarly - not maxi, but I'm wearing one now, and can add tights / jumpers / thermal leggings as required. In fact, I feel like adding all those things now, it's flipping freezing here in town!
One of mine is M & S, the other is Phase 8 - I love Phase 8 stuff, but only feel justified in buying it during sales, as it's more pricey than M & S.
the one I've got from Phase 8 is roughly similar to this, but a darker blue:
Edited to add - because they aren't absolutely fitted, you can wear it comfortably when you're feeling cross and minstrel, as I am ATM....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I've recently received a similar invite.
Someone who is supposed to be a friend, but has not contacted me themselves in 2 years (& I'm fed up with being the initiator), & whilst I know my lofe life isn't awesome, to not have a plus one on the invite means I am likely to refuse to go on principle.
There is an additional principle - I hate the cow he's marrying! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Singing your way through menstruation. Love it. I'm not cross but I am 'minstrel'.

It's a tenant in Chambers, so she's invited all the tenants, and none of their husbands / wives / significant others / etc
It would be more trouble if we had to leave Isaac, anyway.
My Dad's invitation says, "Mr. NDG senior + partner", and over the bank holiday he was musing aloud about whether to take the wife or the girlfriend. My mother said he was welcome to choose (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Sorry, used that word from habit - OH came up with it, because about hte only time I eat much in the way of sweet things is just before, so he mixed the chocolate with the proper word!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

A friend who hasn't bothered contacting you for 2 years, a cow of a bride, and a rude "just you" invite - sounds a missable occasion!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

We hate the partner of one of our closest friends too. But we support her....she's not asking us to shack up with him. In fact, they are having difficulty ATM and we were emailing and it was very hard to know what to say. I'm very clear that there is one way to solve all the problems with him!
I think its one thing to not plus one a friend you know (even throught the grape vine) to be single, but to not issue a plus one to someone who lives with their partner and has a child with them seems uncomfortable to me. Modern times maybe?0 -

Yep, I get carb cravings before. Sweet things are nice, but bread would do. Pasta even. I'm also a bit hungrier the five days or so before. Because my cycle is irregular its easy to miss the signs, but in retrospect there was always a moment of drooling at a picture of cake, or thinking about rhubarbs tarts
in the preceding days. :rotfl:
