Looking down into secret dwarf room from above (through the floor joists) with mauve squeaker
What is the room above?
Could you remove some of the floor joists and make the room above higher so that you can get the benefit of the lovely floor in secret dwarf room.
Failing that it has to be a guest room for Pastures as she has described how well it suits her...although I think it would be more dignified for her to enter via a trap door and step than to crawl in on her tummy.0 -

the last gig i went to was david hasslehoff at the o2 (well not the real o2, the o2 indigo which is a room around the back of the o2). i therefore know why people don't go to see david hasslehoff. i'm not sure that it really qualified as a gig, but he did sing quite a lot so probably. i don't know what happened in the second half because i resorted to drinking turbo shandies. i do remember that at one point he came out dressed as hitler and started goose-stepping.0 -

I am just fine.
They have spoken of you in terms that show that you have been missed, that they keep abreast of news of your daughter through her website with an interest borne of concern and care; that you are wanted here but needed elsewhere.0 -
*shudders*
Just felt a tickle on my right hand.
Looked down to see a tiny tick walking across it. I have stupidly flicked the horrible thing off. Now where is it? How did it get onto an armchair in the sitting room.

The floor level upstairs is one, so would be impractical to drop it a few feet for a bathroom with a high ceiling and a corridor! (Plus would mean more bathroom tiles and those suckers are expensive.)0 -
