It's good stuff to do. I wonder really why more people I know aren't going to gigs etc as often.

As mentioned before, every time I go to the RSC I feel fulfilled in one way or another & would hugely reccommend it. Pick out a play or something somewhere.

I've enjoyed exploring classical music events too & would encourage you consider this as an option for something to try. That said, I have learned also how much I dislike opera!

I don't go because its physically uncomfortable and tiring. Honestly, I just prefer everything at home. Music, films, everything....

I was tired last night (and am even more so tonight... didn't make it to bed after all!). Also remembered why it is handy to have a gig-buddy... apart from having someone to share the experience with etc., one of you can go to the bar whilst the other one keeps the vantage point, less likely to get knocked into etc.

Its all just a warm up for the solo festival in Sept :D

I'll add 'discovering classical music' to my list of hobbies when I can scrub something else off the list :)

May have slightly over exerted self today by having a walk t the shops....

You don't realise how much your body works together when it does work. Lol
I had a major op 2 months ago and for the first week it was a total nightmare to do anything. I bought a soft sports type bra to wear at night after the op but the effort of getting it over my head to take it off meant I had to go back to bed to recover (sorry if TMI!)
However, I am now nearly back to normal (or what passes for that..) so it does improve.

I've had breakfast coffee with doozer girls handsome young cousin my pyjamas this morning. (I was in my pjs, he was not in my pjs). Then her husband and his colleague joined us.

I really should get dressed soon. I think the architect would be mortified were I still to be in pjs by this afternoon.

No depression whatsoever, in fact, I feel determinedly chipper and keep getting the giggles. After doing critters and feeling reasonably alert I did come back to bed though (hence pjs for decency with people in the house) and surfaced to answer questions about snagging.

I cannot remember what the neurologist said these pills were being prescribed to me for though, (well, actually I do remember she said 'now I am giving you these, and launched into the complicated dosage increasing instructions and the big warnings about depression) but didn't say why these and the literature gives me no clue (they are for epileptics) so need to ask the gp if they know why.

A policeman called Jazz tickles me pink. ( or as I first typed, tickle me pimp)

    ( edit...not a totally random statement....the policeman, I think a DC or something, in pasture's link)

If you are interested then a good start would be to type 'Mozart' into Spotify and go from there.

I've never been to one, but I'd imagine: cost, hassle, queueing, uncomfortable surroundings, annoying loons close by, can't hear, can't see, overpriced food/drink, squalid bogs...
