Zero. Same as every other weekend. However little else I do/ would like to do.

I have a !!!!!! load of stuff to read and understand or read and summarise for work next week. Plus I've been swimming (better than sitting around all weekend as well as all week) and I treated myself to a laugh last night (because I'm worth it)

Edit: Pretty Woman is on the tv, I'm behind my laptop which is in front of the tv :)

Do any of the NPs know where I left my Kindle? I thought it was by my bed, and even though I have a book to read I can't go to sleep without it. Talk about OCD! Plus going away tomorrow, and must have the kindle.

Edit: That reminded me - I had already packed it. You see how helpful asking the NPs is.

Edit: And this will happen to you, too, when you reach 60. :p
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    I like limestone.

Cider apple vinegar is the kind of thing that lurks in the back of the cupboard for years once bought...

Not in this house :) It's made from cider decanting dregs and used in washing and eating

:D It happens to me and I'm not 60 :o

So full, we had guests for dinner and as a rule, I ALWAYS over-cater. It isn't possible for me to cook just enough food. We have no starters (made potstickers so only the meat to be cooked with rice), probably about 4 portions of pork in cider and 2 portions of potatoes and we have 4 portions of desert left  (1x eton mess, 3x rhubarb fool).

Only cider (and I only get roped in). If you ever pop by, you can come and help drink!

See above for mention of teenage cider misdemeanors. It's pretty much only that and tequila that I won't drink.

Perhaps home-made is better though :)

I had 'misplaced' my main credit card and nectar card. I still had the last receipt (from Monday) which made me more convinced I hadn't left my cards in Sainsbury's on Monday, but I couldn't find them at all. I searched my car, and even stopped by Sainsbury's to ask if they'd been handed in. Decided today I really had to search... and if I still couldn't find, would have to call up and cancel. Tipped out my bag... not there. Emptied all the pockets... there they were, tucked inside my oyster card holder :o

Re the food - soooo much better to overcater than undercater surely?

Just been reading about prefabs here in London being demolished. Visited one when I was a kid. Couldn't see why anyone would look down on one. They seemed like TARDISes with loads of rooms and doors everywhere. Made out of asbestos though I don't know if it's the dangerous type.

Didn't realise they were built around back-to-back fireplace kitchen/airing cupboard/bathroom so there was one main plumbing/mains connection so the whole place could be contructed in a day. Lasted 40 years instead of 10 some of them. I know that Israel and the Eastern bloc made good use of them. In a country as short of housing as we are currently, it's good to know we once solved problems instead of causing them.;)

Any other NPs ever been inside one/lived in one? What did you think of them?
