I think the company is Alex Machin, based in Bath - and sold through stockists. Primarily a jewellery person, watches are often a part of that range, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the same person/company.
Website registered, but no web presence.

So probably just exhibits and sells through stockists.
If I'm right, then they are at Unit 4, The Onega Centre, Upper Bristol Road, Bath, Somerset, BA1 3AG. Telephone 01225 422188 Email: sales@hot-tomatouk.com

I need to do the same. At the moment all it is used for is tree pruning - I feel safer standing on that than on a ladder. It really needs to go.
It is an effort to dismantle (how long did it take you?), further effort to take to the tip. I feel someone could have good use out of it.
As others have said, freecycle should get it dismantled and removed for no effort on your part, our local frreecycle is called freecycle.org so I'm not sure what you have signed up to?michaels...I am confused...hope I am not prying..off to see DS2 where? Isn't DS2 one of the DKs?lostinrates wrote: »I actually thought there were four...inc a dss. But I might have imagined the dss. I have no actual memory of a mention of a dss.
We reached D Sis 2 about 2.20 after a detour through Slough due to threatened severe delays on the M4, no idea if there was actually any hold up....Got back in about 1hr 50. The weather further West was pants, we left warm and sunny and got back just in time to see a fairly cloudless sunset having spent the day being cold and indoors in the strong wind/drizzle.I think....0 -

Gold star for observation goes to LIR, I didn't know I shared that piece of information very often.

And I a, the one with impaired memory! I have to say, I am learning to trust some of my gut feelings on things more and more though.
The weather here was pretty, not as warm as yesterday or Saturday, but mainly because of the wind which was pretty brisk, and it turned cool earlier and was a bit dull ish starting at about six, but really nothing to complain about.0 -
My time in the sun this afternoon has resultd in a redface with white goggles and a red scooped neckline - I look a bit like this smiley:mad:
My hat was forgotten and on the back of a chair in the sitting room. It will take days to return to normallish colour.0 -

Dh spent most of the weekend in just shorts. No burn for him. He did flush a little last hot day at home. For him its great, his psoriasis responds so well to sun, The best treatment of all. I have caught the sun on fee and cleavage despite trying to avoid it, I haven't burnt either, but don't like the patchy tan nor the skin damage. I'd rather stay milk bottle white forever now.0 -

Four's not that high - I'm the eldest of 4, with 2 younger sisters and a younger brother.
We had a lovely day, it was breezier than yesterday, but still gloriously warm, and because of all the rain, everything at my parents' place was amazingly green and lush and gorgeous.
My mother bought a trampoline last summer, and Isaac and I went on it for ages - they are great exercise, as well as being a lot of fun.
Mama and Isaac made gluten-free gingerbread dinosaurs - my younger sister bought some fun dinosaur biscuit cutters, where you cut out different shapes, and once cooked, slot them together so that they are 3D standing up biscuits.
Well, they would be, if some muppets (Dad, Isaac and my other sister) hadn't snaffled chunks off the biscuit racks, so that we found we had more legs and rear sections we had heads.
Because they're gluten free, my sister could eat them (she's a Coeliac) and, as Isaac announced, "they're good for you, Auntie Eleanor!".
We both had a lovely weekend. I considered PN's suggestion of sending him to the railway station with a week's worth of sarnies, but had to reject it for one reason - he wouldn't be able to get in at home even with keys. The front door for our block is so heavily that Isaac couldn't possibly open it!
We had roast lamb, which was impressively low in food miles - less than one mile, it came from up the road. And leek sauce, new spuds, peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and carrot and swede puree. And my Mama disinterred some frozen plums and made a plum crumble, so my diet took a bit of a holiday, too....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
If your OH's parents or grandparents were refugees from Germany, apparently he can apply for German citizenship. (Well, anyone can apply, but he should get it!) Would this help him in any way?
I vaguely thought of applying, but I can't see any point really. If it looks like the UK will leave the EU, I might apply.

OH makes the "wandering Jew" stereotype look tame - he, his parents and his grandparents (7 of them in total) were born in 7 different countries. OH in Israel, his mother in the British Mandate of Palestine, his father in the UK, and his grandparents in Poland, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Russia, and on board a ship in the Mediterraean. No Germans, though, in the more recent generations....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I'm sure he only brought 3 with him to the meet-up. I think his DSS is quite a lot older - grown up and working, so not likely to want to get dragged across the country to meet some pixels.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
