Blimey! We know who/where to rob next year then :)

Which stalls made the most turnover/profit?

When I get a copy of the accounts I will let you know. I would hazard a guess at the raffle, auction, plants.

    Correct.

Anyone in that situation should tell them to jog on. You need to prove nothing.

as it's been discovered there's been widespread abuse,

Yeah, but that's just nonsense really.

A Torygraph or Daily Fail article doesn't really count as 'proof'.

Any abuse would have been vanishingly small in the big scheme of things.

As a civilised society we should treat first and ask questions later IMO.

I'm not that widely travelled but according to the map I think there's an island the size of Britain just appeared off India's coast. :D

Maybe us muggles just don't get to see this special map!

I'd agree with Hamish if they delayed emergency treatment for payment/ proof of entitlement. They don't. They only ask you to prove you are entitled to treatment for nonemergency treatment.

Seems fair enough for me, but the system is more annoying than it needs to be...

It should be done at first stage...I.e. gp. Then treatment can be seen as within entitlement.

And got married. Is your husband an EU citizen? (Don't answer if you'd rather not.)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Misskool is as 'British' as many born here. She is culturally aware, fully integrated and a fully resident tax payer. She is of more benefit to the country than someone like me. I vote we keep her forever.
