On ours, "cupboard dry" is the driest setting. Perhaps it depends on the make.

Everyone has homous with falafel - in Israel they do, anyway.

And they are even called the same - so it's homous e homousim (humous and chickpeas in translation).
Used to work near Porotbello Road. A felafel was quite a common lunchtime snack for us at Pita the Great's or other pita outlets there.

First place I got into tapas as well. And has one of the best fish and chip shops in London.

Fascinating area- you'd see all sorts of celebs wining and dining in the evening and we often visited the BBC studios to watch comedy quizzes getting recorded. (One the few things that London's got that you can't easily get elsewhere. Well that's changing now!).

Had a cinema full of sofas where you could drink and eat in comfort.

New babysitter tonight seems to have been a big success - he even managed to get both children playing happily together with him. :D
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Porridge is one of the things I can cook. :)

Have you tried oatbran? It's even yummier, and it contains twice as much soluble fibre.

I must be honest, I make a great takeaway :)

I'm not afraid to experiment in the kitchen, and although my DD's love my Georgian/Russian/Azerbaijani food, they do tend to prefer OH's.

When I start playing with spices, on the other hand, I think it's safe to say that OH can't compete. It's mainly Georgian food, with a bit of a twist. In the last month I've done spicy chicken and veg khinkali and an all day breakfast khackapuri (which is like a cheese bread in traditional form).

OH prefers to keep it traditional in the kitchen, but I think if there were more Georgians in the UK, I could possibly turn a revolution in cooking! It's mainly stuff that otherwise wouldn't get eaten, that I'll chuck together, and make something with (both of the above are dough-based foods, so it's relatively easy)

I've got the morning off today, and having just left the shower, I've had one of our (female) managers tell me how attractive I look in a towel/dressing gown

Pastures, we'll have to invite you to dinner sometime :)

    I'll be back!

I went to the docs per everyone's advice and I've been told:

    1. The mole is fine
    2. I'm dying. I've been given 40 years to live :D

My daughter has had a stomach ache and according to the doctor it's either a virus or appendicitis. There's no way to tell.

The weather is very nice for winter. 25C and sunny.

Good to know that you're better than we all thought!

Its 12C in EuroCity according to my car, and a little cloudy. It feels a lot warmer, though! We're apparently due some rain later, which won't impress me, as my car (which is usually cleaned every other day) hasn't been done for the last week and 1100mi, inside or out.

I'm a bit of a freak about a clean car, even though it's not signwritten!

ETA: I think 1100 is the least I've done in a single week since I've had it!

    Right, LIR quality time!

I promised I'd do this on Friday, and I didn't, so I'm very sorry.

My company has managed the publishing, PR and tour for Ukraine and Georgia, and the tour for Russia for the purpose of transparancy here.

    12 points - Israel
    10 points - Georgia
    08 points - Serbia
    07 points - Ukraine
    06 points - Russia
    05 points - Sweden
    04 points - Norway
    03 points - Hungary
    02 points - Netherlands
    01 points - Bulgaria

I absolutely love the Norweigan studio version, but she's not that strong live, in my opinion :(

I eat about 3200 calories a day but then I do have to walk a couple of hundred yards from the train to the tube. If I am working hard at work and having to use my brain I will probably snack another 500.

I usually eat around 3000, however if I'm working non-stop (like last week), that can go as low as 1000, which is why I didn't feel well yesterday. I've always been able to get away with adrenaline, however the last 18 months hasn't been that easy.

When I was woken up last night, I was greeted with 2 huge sandwiches, which took me to about 1400, plus 1.75l of coke, which was another 800, plus several shots of vodka in the evening.

Minus the vodka, that's about what I'll eat/drink on the average day, which is probably why I feel a lot better this morning!

I am, however, looking forward to next Tuesday, when I can have a proper breakfast!

Coop bank are not going bust they just need more capital to meet the rules.

Which they should be able to raise through their retail business. I don't think they'll go bust at all.
