Just caught up - 8 pages, you lot don't half waffle on.

Briefly - you ladies go through some effort & pain to look good don't ya?

Nikkster, bullet hypothetically dodged there. Grade A creep. If a wife can't trust, then who else can? But as others have said, he ain't a representative of all humanity.:)

LIR, I can't see these photo's, but I can see your loveliness in your posts. You have a beautiful mind, which goes a lot further in building and keeping any relationship (that includes friendship).:)

Michaels has made me lol a few times in the past few pages, & Viva beat me (by several days) to a joke.

I went to Manchester last friday. Spent saturday bowling. Put up my mini-polytunnell thingy sunday, with a fair few carrot seeds (& onion sets) underneath.

Very tired. Starting to think about holidays...:o
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

But, unfortunately, he is the typical type of constant barrage that single women are bothered by.

If it helps, it doesn't all stop when you are single.....just some of it.

Fwiw, its worth saying some flirting is fun, if both partners are happy with it and know its just harmless flirting, and the person being flirted with also knows its just banter and is happy with it. Some of my most socially adept friends i would o describe as innately flirtatacious. They first with men, women, old ladies, babies, passing dogs.....it's just how they are and because its so intrinsic to them and natural and not necessarily 'dirty' people are charmed by it.

There is even a cyclists group!

Mr Ss office is in a marina and there are showers in the building shared with berth holders. One of his team is in training for a marathon and after a lunchtime run showeres and returns to work.

One daylast week she showered and thenfound she had forgotten her towel ..so dried herself with a sweaty sock.

I know that some NPs were thinking about getting an ebook reader. There's a fantastic deal on at the moment for the Nook at under £30.

    I haven't used the Nook, but it's well-reviewed.

    :o

I think I have mentioned one of my annoying habits is to talk in rhyme at home sometimes. Twinkle pinkle is probably the lowest one can go along that sort of line.(don't tempt me, I could probably do even worse) I usually go for full paragraphs (verses) of rhyming couplets. I have been trying limericks on and off in more recent years. Haiku only works in text. Shakespeare it's not. Mildly satisfying it is.

A second annoying habit is to speak in lyrics or song titles. Often people don't realise til someway through the conversation, or at all. This absolutely cracks me up. That one is a very annoying habit I picked up in a rebellious midteen time. I also stopped talking for a while. Obviously I am too gobby to make it a lifetime commitment to silence, but lyric response was a pretty handy way round it for a while.:o. Obviously, some of the more obscure responses when clutching at straws and delays in responses make one look totally and utterly deranged but.....so does answering sincerely oftentime.:D

Mine doesn't. Or possibly one, in the medical centre where the kids go when ill. And more at the sports hall which is some distance away from the main school. Neither is particularly practical for staff wanting a shower on arriving sweaty at work from cycling in.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

What's a man vajazzle going to be called when it happens? I guess I could pop a peacock feather in the end and call it a cocktail.

I'm sure that website that LIR posted the other day which I definitely didn't look at mentioned something about "pejazzle".

We have showers for general use as well as a work gym which, obviously, also has showers... There are also 4 beds at work for people who don't understand what work life balance means. Thankfully I've never had to use the beds!

A friend of ours had a home delivery, and the next day she received a card from the neighbours saying "Congratulations! We heard you had a baby!".
