Thinking of stuffing them with other old socks and sewing them together in to a a sort of link of sausages for the kiwi.
Kiwi bit off more than he could chew today. He is a little escapologist and wriggles under all the gates here. Dh took all the dogs to strim with him while I cut the lawn but kiwi wanted 'Mama' so wriggled under two gates to find me then followed me round. I don't like him loose a the front of the house so suggested he sit on my lap, which he thought sounded great, until I turned the law mower back on......he leapt out of his skin and wriggled through the side gate back to the house. Dh came back to get him and he behaved, staying with dh for the rest of the time.0 -

The sausage links sound a very puppyish toy.
Our first flattie grew to be lovely old boy and was a great escape artist. Going up and over/through hedges & fences. It proved to be his undoing. On his last escape we had a search party of 10 out looking for him sadly he was found drowned in a swimming pool of a house further up the hill.
On getting another dog we added chicken wire as a further defence. The current dog has recently burst through into next door and given the chance of roaming in our little field..legs it.
We have public footpath across our garden and a stile to get over the fence. As soemone lifted their dog over they asked OH why we had wire across the fence and as there dog could not get in....OH explained it was so our dog could not get out.
Our other neighbour replaced their stile last year with a gate after their last pony had died as unfortunately people who open gates do not always close them.0 -

The way I see it, nobody has a right of way across their land. As I see it, they own two pieces of land, one either side of a right of way
The sort of "land" in the houses I am looking at (where they have any at all) seems to be about 20' wide and 30' deep..... no sign of a posh alert there.0 -

So long as you know Mr S is not called Ben.
Micheals hope all is well with you and yours. I have remebered you request about portals I have yet to follow it up though. Did you make a choice about hairstyles for your DS?
My DD had her hair highlighted with 'burgundy/red' at teh hairdressers today. Looks good although quite subtle.
This week for a brief moment as I read a headline on the forum front page I thought my identity had been outed on MSE. I wish I could explain why..but would then do just that so that is not happening. A really hair raising moment though.0
