In mine thankfully, its not applicable.
But no. It's not really to be used like that in your circumstances, I was just giving a set of circumstances nothing like your own where it might be reasonable. When I had to go to Argos to get a telly for the care home, parking was 1/4 of a mile away and I am small/weak/pathetic.... yet I still parked 1/4 mile away and lugged the telly back slowly to the car as I didn't feel "entitled" to use the BB even though it was SOLELY for the BB holder.... I felt if I could manage I always should.0 -
Maybe what you need is a folding 3-wheeled scooter (of the kiddie-style).
No idea if they make one, but then it could be put into the car and you could scoot everywhere once you arrived.
If they were readily available for a few quid I'd get one of those ... it'd be ferkin magic0 -
It's probably not legal to ride something like that on the path. Scary to ride on the road.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I want those kids shoes with wheels, or roller skates. I mentioned the roller skate wish to a good friend and dh and watched her turn white and him turn purple with crossness. I guess they see what damage I could do to myself.. My balance ain't great so I could topple easily. Still want them,

I was never very confident on roller skates, but I would really really like a pair of Heeleys (I think that is what they are called)0 -
When it comes to deciding whether to allow a badge, though, what level of the worst day scenario do you base it on? Personally, I don't see what's wrong with using worst day if that's what happens say once a month, rather than once a lifetime.
Conversely, are you suggesting someone should get a blue badge or similar when they only have that need for one day a month?:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Lemon jelly, if I were turned down now, would it stand against me /delay things if I apply later? Like 'we think this person is a blue badge fraudster?
Absolutely not (in my experience at least).
A decision has to be rejected on the assessment framework, not "we don't like this person".
The most likely reason for a rejection, is contradictions in an application. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Similar to pastures, take the example of a visually impaired person.
Or, the best example is a person having chemo or radiotherapy. A very up & down condition. Needs to be able to avoid public transport (as their immune system is knocked for 6) & may not be able to walk more than 15 yards for a couple of days after a session. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Hiba Express, High Holborn?
Not been there myself, but OH and Isaac love it.
https://www.hiba-express.co.uk...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
