2 items flung on ebeast.. £50 IF they both sell at start price.. I could definitely use that!!

I need to sort returns to Next.

I have a toddler bed leaving this week and a single next week hopefully.. I will get this baby into the girls room and it may well kill me lol.

I spoke to my BHF friend and she is putting me down for 'house clearance' pmsl.. I said that was bit hopeful!

Anyway.. 2 ebeast items posted, 2 more listed 2 of my 3 boxes condensed into 1.. it is reducing see!!

I have some more bits I am hoping to get done tonight.. I may start on my 5 items a day again, that worked really well and I'd end up with hundreds of things on because I'd sit down and do 5 a few times each day.

I've ordered lots of new yarn so I need to create a home for it.. I have a broken sofa to throw out in the next few days .. that will create room!! lol.. extreme decluttering!! I may emulsion in here too while the sofa is gone.. it will require a bit of $h!t-shuffling but it won't be impossible.. I can make it nice in here then and have one clutter free room for 5 minutes!

I have awarded myself a gold star. The box of plastic containers sorted & the cupboard with the Tupperware in it sorted. Upshot being TWO clear shelves! Saucepans & food mixer accessories rehomed to a more convenient place & the shelves all cleaned. Surpus containers posted on Freecycle. Smug, moi?????

Havent got a real chance to update on my progress.

Last week I said I was going to do the utility room on one particular day. It took me 3 days. I got rid of every single thing that I do not use in there. It was incredible to see the amount of rubbish I had gathered up. Every single item now has a place and I sorted through every nut bolt and screw .. all are in their boxes... I used those lidded plastic laundry tablet boxes. So delighted with it. Washed out all cupboards. Left the doors open now and again so I could see what I had done. There is now a laundry basket, and ironing basket to be seen. I also have an identical basket to take clothes in and out from the clothes line.

I have a coat hook in there and so many jackets coats etc have been flung there for ages. All down and all that is left is my everyday coat, clothes peg bag ... the pegs can be used to hang clothes to dry.

I also found all the parts for the hand held Dyson that i had abandoned. All filters washed etc and put back together. I have a lovely room with great cupboards I just need to look after it :)

I since have cleaned out and shined my downstairs loo. Shining :)

Now have to tackle the kitchen and continue to keep on top of the laundry etc.

Feeling pretty pleased with myself. :)

Gold Star & a CDM for you Sweetpea :)
Not had any response from Freecycle for the containers so I'll remove the Tupperware ones to the CS & the rest can go in the recycle bin - was worth a try.

:T Wow, sweetpea, that sounds amazing! I also know the deep joy of opening cupboards to peep at the new orderliness/ emptiness and how satisfying it is. You must be chuffed. :T

I'm not feeling very well tonight, and should have been going out to a mate's but have cried off as I'm barely functional now and won't be very good at work tomorrow unless I can get some rest.

I have opened and filed some post (bank statements) and shredded the receipts and have read a sales cataglogue which arrived today and then put it in the recycling. Get thee behind me, Gooo Oooootdooors, you tempters, you.

Tomorrow I shall retrieve something from the freezer and turn it into a meal, which will declutter the space in there a bit. I shall also declutter some books back to the library tomorrow which will free up some shelf space. Every little helps, as said by the woman who powdered her nose in the sea.............:rotfl:

Am back on board after RL got in the way - school hols and Dgs mainly - now heading towards the 'C' word and wanting to clear decks again.

Pile ready for fleabay listing and a pile for Dgs to list too which hopefully will split between us and make her a little cash.

Just lost nearly a stone in weight so going to check out my old clothes and decide what to keep and what not to. At the moment everything just fits really loosely so no need to buy new yet.

lots of sewing and knitting on the go too hopefully a FB selling page will move some of the made stuff on.

Glad to hear so much success on the thread, well done to all :j

:hello: Hello, ginny, lovely to 'see' you again, was thinking the other day that I hadn't seen you posting for a while.

I honestly don't know where this summer has gone, can't believe it's almost autumn already. I shall have to get ready to do * dah dum * the autumn cleaning. That's like spring cleaning but you do it with your jumper on.

I feel the urge to declutter something which is very messy, such as a flapjack. Life is full of difficulties, sometimes, but we just have to keep tidying up the baked goods, don't we?

2 large bags of chilli chicken wings decamped to DS1. I have a single bed with mattress and a 2 seater sofa to head their way at the weekend.. FLING!!

A corner sofa to deposit at the tip and a chest of drawers to the tip too.. it is beyond repair.

I have piles of charity shop stuff and waiting on my friend sending their van to collect :) Hopefully I shall have more after the weekend when we have gutted flung and tidied that room.

:D Wow, is there anything left behind in Chez Pigpen? I'm gobsmacked about the amount of stuff you shift, I have this mental image of you like one of those multi-armed goddesses, children in some hands and flingage radiating from other ones.

Please reassure me that your household isn't left with only a few cardboard boxes to sit on and a pasting table to dine at..............:rotfl:Seriously, you're an inspiration.

My house is so full of crap I didn't know I had half of this stuff.. including a 2 seater sofa which was buried for the best part of a year!!

I have 3 reception rooms with several sofas .. honest!! Paste table is in the shed and we have 2 dining tables.. one is buried under several feet of shpoop on the landing!!

CS tomorrow to see if I can pick up a spiffing tv /coffee table.. I needs a bargain, I have £15 and refuse to spend a penny more!
