Well NSD today although given a bill for next week £40. This is for DS to start improvers for local swim club so this will help him with getting dyspraxia under control. He has slowed down and is now falling a lot, so hoping it gets back under control.
Last boiler repayment went out today so that means i can cancel it for next year.
Glad this week is over and done with so hoping to get organised next week. Need to exercise so going to have to workout when this can be.

Well life is not great. I now have no laptop as it has died so catching up on diaries will be hard. Will have to look at darling daughters ipad when she will let me.
Started xmas shopping today didnt get alot and to be honest didnt see alot either

Oh no sorry to hear about the laptop do you know what is wrong with it? I often look in on my phone now rather than starting up the netbook (which i'm on atm only because I needed to check bank balance) it's just so much easier. Have you been told what the kids would like for xmas? Mine keep changing their minds so haven't got any main ones yet and feeling very behind on where I usually am now !

Well laptop decided to turn on today? Children want all sorts PS4, although convinced just to get games they want and look at next yr. DD wants everything but nothing that i think is really appropriate. I hate wasting money on toys etc..
Well birthday been and gone not a bad one quiet i received some money but have given to my mam to look after. Made a start on close family presents just need to get finished off.
DD had a gym comp she did very well she got a 2nd and 5th overall. She was happy.
Another busy day tomorrow as she has a gala. I would love a quiet weekend.

Hi Shinner,

Decided to have a nosey at your diary after you popping in on mine. Just read the whole thing from start to finish and there are so many similarities!!! Especially the OH but with mine its motorbikes instead of cars!! Most of my debt was probably his to start with and like yours he is so laid back and not bothered about his own. I found the best thing was to split our bank accounts and deal with our own money and not get involved in each others. I pay half the bills from my bank, he pays half from his. We don't ask each other for money and control our own debts! Its worked surprisingly well. He sees me getting somewhere and it influences him a bit and he is starting to curb his spending a bit..... though he has a huge list of things he wants when I get out of debt and he will probably then want help with his..... they never really change! lol.
You seem to be having it a lot harder than me though, I have been really lucky that most of my creditors came to an agreement and then pretty much left me alone. It wasn't that I didn't have the income just that most of my income was going on debt and only really paying the interest. Once my plan was in place, interest stopped or reduced, I had plenty to pay off the actual debt. Having no kids helps too I guess.
You are doing incredibly well though, you seem to take on a hell of a lot at once!! Healthy eating, stopping smoking, only 1 bottle of wine a week (aaahhhh!) Your debts, your kids activities, new job, OH etc..... Jeez I'd never manage all that at once!! You are doing brilliant!! Keep up the good work! You are heading in the right direction and one day this will all be a distant memory and the debt will all be gone and you will have a nice healthy looking bank account!!! Stay strong!!! :T

GMOD thanks for popping over. I have been so busy of late it is mad. Still not got xmas sorted kids mainly to sort out. I am desperate to be debt free but still cant increase my payments.
This week i have had a lovely bug... but have also now been blessed with cold my head throat nose and chest all hurting.
Think i will have to cave and go for my flu jab. Immune is horrific.

Has it really been that long since i have logged on !! Christmas was lovely quiet but nice.
DD has been in for her op and is on the way to recovery. It has been hard she took along while coming round was scary at times, she is allowed out o the house today but not at school for another week in case of infection. I go back to work on sat dreading it. Then back at school on Monday:(:(
Debt hasn't moved although hasn't gone up i don't think !! Haven't logged on the bank daren't although I MUST today can't get back in to the habit of burying my head.
I wish I could get a settlement which was not scary. Have to phone Mercers today as they have sent me another letter ! My situation not changed so don't know what they want me to do.
OH has been ok with money but need to get him refocused on reducing his debt.

Really can not believe i am up at this time of morning woke at 330 gave in at 5 and got up. Ironing now all done just need to put away.
DD bedroom needs tidying but she wants to do it next week. Having casserole for tea so will put in the slow cooker in an hour or so. Old work colleague coming at some point today to visit will be nice to catch up.
Mother in laws birthday so need children to write card, a friend was getting some flowers for her for me and making them look pretty lol.
She is a trained florist so they will no doubt look lovely.

Well been on bank it is not half as bad as i expected! I was thinking i would probably be in the red but very much in the black at the minute. Yippee.
Phoned or settlement figures to be told will settle 2 @ 40% and the other @ 90 % dilemma now do i wait or do i pay 2 and leave 1 ? Money is not mine is bank of Mam. Some serious thinking to do.
I so want them gone it is unreal at the same time i don't want to owe my mam that much!!
