Hi Bonnie, I'll join you, albeit a bit late! Not posted for a couple of days as I've been so busy, but also had one if my migraneous headaches, so haven't used my laptop much.
Just come back from taking cats to cattery (sob) as we are due to go away tomorrow for four days, but are now going to watch and see how this bad weather pans out and decide tomorrow morning.
However, we are sticking to our plans of having a couple of hours clean through this aft and I already have the second wash load on. Have already shopped and cleaned for sick friend!
So off I go! Bonnie, enjoy your date tonight and lots of good vibes for Pigpen and Natty with the ceiling and related work. Good health vibes to all those poorly and good wishes to all. Kaz, I 'worked to rule/went on strike' once and it worked in the end. Now I just say straight out what I want!! We women can be too nice sometimes!!!
Bye for now, R x
PS One year ago almost to the hour, my beautiful, gentle little girlie cat lost her fight. She is my avatar here, and not a day goes by without me missing her. Rest in peace little Maisie and let's hope animals are being cared for, especially in this bad weather. XXX0 -

Reporting back from my HHC a bit late because I've been helping OH take his pills and getting up and down the stairs to the bathroom. It's hard to use cructhes on our stairs as they are very steep! I hate seeing him in so much pain
Rowan RIP Maisie - I'm sure she's enjoying herself in kitty heaven
In my HHC:
Emptied all bins
Cleaned stinky kitchen bin
Washed dishes
Unpacked OH hospital bag
Cleaned bathroom
Now sitting with a cuppa. Might do more flying later - I'm not committing myself :rotfl:0 -
glad to hear it Pigpen! Here in York there is no snow but it is so cold and windy! I wouldn't fancy motorway driving with the windy conditions we have here! Enjoy your decorating!
A colleague asked if the kids had to go out in this weather! She obviously didn't fancy it - so I had 30 minutes in the playground. I have to say the kids absolutely LOVED it - it was the adults who moaned..... Not one child asked to go in/how long was left to stay outside.
Still feeling ropey, but a bit better - less pain is one good thing. I have cleaned the oven, which was disgusting! I better go and clear up the resulting mess in the kitchen, but at least I have achieved something today!!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Decorating coming along nicely. Door, cupboard, radiator, windowsill done. Ceiling done. Walls x 1 coat done. Looks loads better. It's a slightly deeper blue than before so will do another coat after tea. I've masked off a large square and painted it bright red () and that is where the spiderman decal will go. That will probably need another coat too. I hope it's a nice sharp edge!
Then I need to take up the carpet, vac round and do the skirting! In around the window is fine with one coat so the vertical blinds can go back up tonight, and if the side wall is dry I can put his shelf / hooks thing back up too.
Carpet fella came to measure and said if I pop up Monday he might have the perfect off-cut for me
A vey productive day, thus farBossymoo

DS3 very tearful, one of his closest friends leaves for 2 years in India this weekend. Need to see what DH can do with him on Sunday whilst I am at Ideal Home with DS2.
Sock sorting and table clearing next jobs for me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hi again.
I can't believe I've only just stopped! Since I last posted, over 4 hours ago, I've cleaned all skirtings and doors, damp-dusted and also dry dusted throughout, cleaned sofa and chairs, cleaned kitchen units and bathroom and generally tidied. OH hoovered through and did his paperwork. He then got his bags/clothes ready while I mopped kitchen and conservatory.
I then sat down with a cuppa and wrapped some birthday and Easter gifts and wrote cards, then I sorted out some more pressies for next week. Between this I fed WM and TD, so all cat blankets and our throws and some clothes are washed and dried or drying.
Finally (!) I've just made some pancake batter so we can use up some lemons - I love pancakes!! We're just using bits of food up tonight as we go tomorrow for a trip to the Bath area to see friends and family.
Bye for now then and happy flying to everyone, and I'll be back mid-week. Let's hope everyone stays safe in this awful weather.
Bossy, you sound busy too, and your DS will be SO pleased!!
And Deus, thank you for your kind comments about my little cat. How can you love one little ball of fur so much!
Good wishes all round especially to those poorly and also any newcomers. I do apologise, I've not greeted anyone lately.
