    Hurrah! I'm done! :T:T:T

Well, unless the morning brings with it some unsightly patches... I also might do a couple of random geometric shapes dotted here and there as I have some tester pots of different shades of blue. Then I've just to put spiderman up, and his bunting. I've also got a large chalkboard wall sticker that I might put where his underbed "den" is going to be.

I've put the verticals back, and I've ordered a roman blind too, to fit this side of it. Might sound daft having two blinds but curtains don't work as the window goes right up to the cupboard edge. But this way I can have a blackout blind for a little extra insulation.

So, am showered, hair washed, and having a bit of TV time...

Inspired by the Paul Hollywood programme on Monday, I have made bread this evening (using up an old packet mix that I found at the back of the kitchen cupboard - thanks Natty) and while we've been watching "New Tricks" it has been
    rising!

I, too, have been bread baking, but in my case the bread making part of it was straight into the Panny. It will be ready at 8.30 am tomorrow morning, right in the middle of Garrison Keillor.

I also have a Pavlova slowly doing its thing in the oven for the annual feast we share with a group of friends. Much jollity and silliness will ensue. I have some very bad taste presents to wrap, but I can't find the purposely bought extremely bad taste Di$ny Prince$$ wrapping paper. Grr.
    Better is good enough.

    pigpen hope you slept well
bossy well done on all that decorating!

Morning everyone . Woke to fresh snowfall. It's cat-height deep here in our garden, so the kitty is not so pleased! Its still snowing now as well

    Plan for this morning:

    Get showered and dressed
    Make shopping list
    Go food shopping
    Make soup for lunch
    WM x 2

    Off I go!

    Oh dear.

I've just surveyed my empire. The outside of it appears to be covered in 8" white fluff. Apart from the bits where it's drifted, to over a foot deep!

On the inside, we thankfully have no snow ;) DS bedroom looks fab! There are a couple of small patches of wall that need touching up, but shouldn't take long. All the woodwork is fine. Didn't realise how bad it was until I sorted it IYSWIM.

Anyway, this morning we are supposed to be going to a party (for 10am) but that is assuming the inlaws can get the kiddies back to me - they live in the highest point of the local area and its renowned for getting snow more / sooner than the rest of us

In fact, MIL has just text saying no chance... Oops
