Evening all. Hope you are all well :D

CY hope you are starting to see some relief now, and you have got some stronger antibiotics.
Wow Valli, you actually saw a badger cub :D The only badgers I have ever seen are unfortunately at the side of the road :(
Honeybear you deserve lovely lodgers after "lodger from hell" :D
Kazw how is the strike going? Are the other members of the household beginning to realise what you do or are they just wandering around oblivious?
Oooh dancemum I would be raiding the bin lid if it was me.. A pink lidded wheelie, now that would be my idea of heaven :D

Spent a good two hours in our bedroom today while I was supposed to be getting dressed..lol. I decided to have a blitz on it - I really wished I hadn't. The dust bunnies had been breeding  I have a very large pile of "stuff" on the end of the bed that needs sorting before we go to bed tonight..wonder if I will do it though lol.

DH has been putting the first coat of matt on the kitchen walls today, and I can actually see it taking shape and can imagine now what it will look like :D I think he is going to be putting another coat on tomorrow while I am watching Breakfast at Tiffanys :D I think I will use that time productively and do some of the ironing from the basket :D Ooh that reminds me have a load of towels to hang on the airer!!!!

Didn't have any unusual birds today in the garden, we did have two cats take up residence in the garden/on the fence. And they weren't my cats either!!!! Still it didn't seem to stop the sparrows, doves etc from feeding :D

Must remember to tape Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners on 4Seven in a bit otherwise by the time I get round to watching it on catch up it will have disappeared..lol

Going to settle down a watch Masterchef at 8 then shall sort out the bed upstairs I think :D

Hugs, spoons and love to everyone :D

    Good for you kazw!

Well I am back from the big smoke, a good time was had by all, and very little sleep. Did bump into an old colleague from many moons ago, so that was nice but of course prompted a "so what's been happening with you?" conversation :(

Oh and I won 2 Easter eggs...

Inlaws have the kiddies, left a clean and tidy house :T so I'm in bed with TV and hot choc.

    Decorating tomorrow!

Cats worming complete, beautiful female cat did not wriggle and swallowed, male cats made a huge fuss and kept spitting them out. They should know that we will win!

DW on WM on. I'm done for the day, fire on and I'm on the sofa.

  • Boddy - it won't let me copy the info from FB, but it sounds like we are both seeing the same thing. Also, it is sq. ft. not cubic ft. as I first advised - silly me!

The mess in this house is getting me down and I got worked up this afternoon and had a massive strop with OH and the kids. I got my exercise gear on and went and did a class giving it wellie! Feel loads better now and came home and the dishes had been done and kitchen table cleared by them. Keep your chin up, Kazw, you are not alone!

LW - I saw your link and started smiling - thought it was gonna be a set of ladders - can't get Up On The Roof out of my head now tee hee xx

I've had a bit of a brainwave tonight. I have a 4-tier bathroom tidy thingymebob in the airing cupboard which I have been decluttering one product at a time for about 6 months. I also have 2 shelves of medicinal stuff in the kitchen (out of a possible 6 shelves). I reckon I could have a massive cull of medicines, bandages, etc., and get it all into the bathroom store, thus freeing up 2 kitchen shelves.

I've just looked at the Calamine Lotion which will be out of date next month. I remember buying this when DS had chickenpox when he was 2 and have never needed to use it since. He will be 12 in July - I reckon it can go now.

There is a roll of lint I inherited from my Mum (RIP) last year and I can remember it being in her cupboard when I was a kid (I'm now 43) and neither of us have ever used it in the 35 years in between.

Other than the usual suspects - plasters, germolene, savlon, calpol, paracetamol, digital thermometer, cough mixtures and a spoon etc., I'm sure the rest can go in the bin. Anybody else feel they open cupboards, drawers etc., and not actually take note of what is in there? It just lives in there with no real potential for use. NOT ANY MORE - my ruthless head will be focussed this weekend.

    TMD xx
