But be careful taking your own drink into the clubs as you aren't meant to do it and can be kicked off camp for it although they are unlikely to do so (I must admit to taking my own drinks into the ballroom at Pontins, hubby prefers Newcastle Brown Ice Cold so refuses to do so, breaks my heart paying nearly/just over £4 for a bottle which costs 4 for £5 at the supermarket just because it's cold:)

The bottled stuff is ok but the stuff on tap is watered down massively

    Morning all!

If it's any consolation, midwinter, I have to work on Sunday lunchtime :(. I'm not even convinced I'm going to get paid any extra - that can't be right, can it? The happy couple had better be on time. ;)

The oddest thing I ever flew out of Bristol with in my hand luggage was a tin of kidney beans. They didn't know what to make of it but took the pragmatic approach.

Hope you all have a good, wine-filled day, and I'll be thinking of you rolo-polo and sending positive vibes x

The weirdest thing I've ever seen in the bin at security was a jar of marmite :rotfl:

I'll have a look see if the morning and see what weirdness people are trying to get through with

    Afternoon all,

Am seriously lacking in motivation today :o

Have had half hearted go at decorating Easter tree and have made some rice krispie cakes with DS1 as I'd promised him we'd do baking. Other than that I have just been drinking tea :D

Morgy, sounds like a right pain with the gift card. Hope you get it sorted soon.

    Thinking of rolo-polo :A

Thanks Logie - think this last stage is the worst as its hard to get excited about anything and if you do you haven't got the energy. Like walking and thinking through treacle. So keep smiling you are almost there. I made the mistake of honouring the half term 5 day jaunt to Bath at travel inn - and spent most of afternoon and early evening in bed (and eating) - loved what I saw of Bath but it was wet and cold. So keep tucked in with your little ones ....... I am impressed that you can still drink tea - I went off big style but back to normal now thank god - can't beat a good cuppa.

Re motivation - I am supposed to be making 30 buns for an Easter Hunt early tomorrow but I think I should change my middle name to procrastination - so no excuse for me.... I am going to peel myself off here in the next 5 minutes honestly.:o.
Is there a thread for addicted to Martin's website - sure real life witll get in the way (and then there'll be a gliltch and I'll miss it :D)? Then theres the housework I've procrastinated about for too long......

Thinking of rolo - forgot to ask her what time of day she was going .......

thank you so much to everyone on here, the amount of money i have saved is incredible.

Just been to Tosco with my Finest coupons and managed to use 8 on 6 finest meals & thankfully my tosco had the Montepulciano wine which gives back a PP, so managed to get a £10 PP. Even though I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more wine, but i couldn't help myself.

There is a PP on Tesco Welsh Free Range Medium Eggs box of 12. £2.60 T and £1.98 A

I did have a bit of a Palaver though with my shopping going through and she told me I was only allowed to use one Tesco Finest Coupon :-(, so I said I didn't want my shopping, as that was the only reason I got because of coupons.

She voided my shop and then someone from Customer Service came over to help me put all shopping back. I explained the Coupon situation & no one was really sure, after asking 3 people she told a new SA to put my shopping through and take all Coupons I had.

I was very happy with that result, but now have loads of wine & loads of Finest Desserts to get through ;-)

She did say to me, thanks for being so understanding, will go to her again if I have problems :-)

hope everyone having a good day today & hugs to all those who are not having too good a day.

Morning everyone! lutzi I wonder if you married us if near Bristle? I was 15 mins late due to hair issues :) all fine then got told had to go now or registrar would run out of time and would have to leave to go to next wedding

No I'm up north my dear, just flying from Bristol on a penny flight (those were the days) :).

If we have more than one wedding we are not allowed to endanger the start time of the next wedding if the previous one is running late, as it's not fair to them. I've never had to leave a wedding to get to another venue on time yet, but it will happen sooner or later. (15 minutes wouldn't be a problem for us). If we could we'd then go back and marry the latecomers later on in the day. We do wait ridiculous amounts of time for people sometimes, usually unpaid if it's at the weekend as we just get a set fee. If there's a genuine problem then of course we understand and do everything we can to help, but some people really do just take the mickey.

Whoops, sorry that message sounded a bit grumpy and accusatory on re-reading it, totally not intended. So many weddings on DTTB and 4 Weddings are hours late, I'm amazed that they go ahead at all. BTW the registrars at our wedding were great.

Can I ask please, how do people post a picture showing the MSM prices in all the different supermarkets in the same formatting used on MSM? Ive tried to copy and paste and put in an image but it doesn't work for me :( Can this be done or do you need to printscreen and upload the image?
