been to B&Q - that paint pod is 65 quid in there:eek:
Who in their right mind would pay that much??

Good afternoon. I would, if it was cheaper in Homebase or anywhere else covered, if I was absolutely sure it was the exact same one and that B&Q would beat the price by 10% with there being no 'wriggle' room for them to be able not to do so.

Morgy, you've hit the nail on the head with the 'walking and thinking through treacle'. That is exactly how I feel today.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better :)
Looking forward to having OH off for the long weekend. Hopefully will get some help with the boys

I love tea but am having to have it lukewarm at the moment as my mouth is so sore. Have oral thrush and tongue covered in ulcers since last Friday :( The tea is at least taking the hunger away a little as struggling to eat much. Hopefully will improve soon as it's not helping my mood (so DH would say :rotfl:)

:AHugs - creamy things like PK04 suggested. Homemade soup without the salt and any citrus things.

Power milkshake - blend banana, some yoghurt (vanilla, plain or greek yoghurt best), add an egg (you won't taste it), some milk, teaspoon of honey and sprinkiling of cinnamon if you like (go easy on amount) or leave if not - experiemnt to get the thicKness you desire (oops just re read that mean the consistency not the banana :rotfl:). Your belly will feel full after that so will help with hunger and nutrition and will hopefully soothe as it goes down. Used to have it in the morning and it set me up for the day - I guess you could have it more often but you may want to experiment with another fruit during the day as too many bananas will bung you up liquidised or not! I don't think it will be taste good (egg with purple fruits) but it should be ok with strawberries. If you mouth is really sore -try dollop of vanilla icecream instead of or as well as yoghurt. HTH

Done wash and put drying in and gone upstarirs and cat tried to eat mouse or bird and has now puked up on my bedroom caarpet ...so off to sort out - don't know whether to have dinner before or after cleaning it up - neither feels right.

    £64.99
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

When getting paint from B&Q always remember to check the prices at homebase, as B&Q pricematch and knock 10% off the price.

To be fair to them, on the few occasions I have done it, all I have done is shown them the homebase website with the item shown on my phone, and had it no problem. I even used it when they had 3 for 2 on paint, and I only wanted 2 tins, not 3. CS said we are cheaper for 3, but I said I only wanted 2, and homebases offer was on 2 tins, so I got that price (and 10% off)

Moving onto TCB, my jackpot 24/7 has still not tracked from 2 days ago, anyone elses tracked/not tracked?
