Both me and OH have got the weekend off :j

has anyone been to the Isle of Man at this time of year?

we have found a trip there, but seems a hell of a long way to travel on a coach :( and especially if the weather is gonna be pants.

can anyone suggest anywhere else to go, either here or abroad, been looking for 4 days in the sun but seems impossible to get a flight out of any northern/midland airport.

we have budgeted ourselves around £400

so, looking/hoping at somewhere in the UK pleaseeeee.

    any suggegstions greatly appreciated..Many Thanks

Dohhhhhhhh, its the isle of white we have seen a trip to, not the isle of man.

If it was the IOM, it's very nice. Probably very cold and windy at the moment though. I would travel to Liverpool by coach and then get the seacat/ferry over to Douglas.

IOW I haven't been to for years! x
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

:j Looks like another few triggers here (or maybe I am just a bit slow and it's old news!!!)

    Neither of:-

    Lindt Egg & Chick,
    Yorkie Retro Egg or
    Lion Bar Egg

show up as 3 for £10 with As on MyS for me (the Mario Egg would appear to be the one with the Keepsake Tin but it is showing correctly as 3 for £10). With the Yorkie Retro and Lion appearing on both receipts and the multibuy not recognised on either receipt, one or maybe both of these could be triggering ...

    ;)

is the yorkie retro egg the truck one if so my store has these so may take a gamble has had none of the triggers yet and i need eggs:D thanks

    Latest on giftcard from Tosco.

Have rung CS and guy puts me on hold for a while - then says is York your normal store. So I say no I live equi distance from 2 Seacroft, Leeds and York, yesterday at York but normally driving past Seacroft and shop there.

Him - "Well this card was used at 11.00 am so that is why it hasn't worked".:mad: What the ...! I have assured him that I cannot have used it at that time as I was at home.... and they can check as I used my clubcard. So I have been asked to call back tomorrow while they look into it. Did 2 shops at one oclock then another at other side of york - homeware items at 15.00pm. Cacking it now as they will see my 2 refunds on meat and wine - hey ho their pricing error.

Thing is i don't have smart phone and was posting here at 10.58 so couldn't have been in York for 11am to use as 40 minute drive away :o.

So have they sent 2 cards out same number, is it the same person who didn't 'load' my card pretending he did?
Seem to remember another poster saying had recieved 0 amount card from CS but can't remember the outcome.
I am so offended at the suggestion that I have already used it!! All the peole who know me would laugh at a suggestion of any dishonesty. Might stick to Mr A in future even if wine glitches...:(

I had the same thing happen with a T giftcard from CS.

They said they'd sent it out and after 2 weeks I hadn't received it.
Finally they said it had been used, and wouldn't give me details of when or where.
Very reluctantly they sent me out a replacement though.

I put the GC in a very safe place...too safe...because it's now lost!! *sulk*
