Paint pods to me are a bit of a gimmick and whilst they might be more convenient and easier to use for some than more traditional methods are they worth it?...the individual needs to be the judge of that...cost vs convenience/time saved.

Anyone old enough to remember the Black and Decker Paintmate? It was the same thing and failed miserably at the time.

The paint pods can be bought quite cheaply but the paint is very expensive and will not be any different in quality to standard paint but will have been formulated at the right viscosity for the equipment. Seems to me it's a bit like the cheap printers and expensive cartridges that we are locked into unless of course you refill ink carts or experiment with normal paint to get the right viscosity for the equipment.

I have a paint pod mini, and really think that it saves time and effort. Not reloading the roller means much less bending and stretching.

The paint is expensive, but you can mix your own. Take any 'regular' paint, and add approx 20% water in the empty original paint pod container and voila!

The main selling point for me was just how little paint I used, I did a living room, bedroom and a bit of hallway with one coat and found that I still had just over half a pot of paint left.

Do any of you peeps have the receipt code for the wispa. I have wombles with eggs on them but too few items to compare. If I find out that one of the eggs is a wispa then I can have TCB.

I understand about 3 days. Mine is on 36 hrs or so ISTR and nothing just yet.

A lot to be said for a red/ black strategy if you have to play through £20 :D
Could you elaborate on this strategy..any tips?

I'd like to try this before the cashback ends, but have never played casino games before.

Not bothered if I don't win anything as I'll just be playing through for the cashback, but any tips are welcome!

It's the Finest Montepulciano d'Abruzzo at £6.99, but you'll be lucky to find some (check the wine section as well) It has a bit of red/orange on the label. Remember pp caps at £10 though and you'll get £1.99 back for each.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Mhoc hope your gift card works - take your letter with you just in case .... hope they didn't forget to load it ....

    Latest on giftcard from Tosco.

Have rung CS and guy puts me on hold for a while - then says is York your normal store. So I say no I live equi distance from 2 Seacroft, Leeds and York, yesterday at York but normally driving past Seacroft and shop there.

Him - "Well this card was used at 11.00 am so that is why it hasn't worked".:mad: What the ...! I have assured him that I cannot have used it at that time as I was at home.... and they can check as I used my clubcard. So I have been asked to call back tomorrow while they look into it. Did 2 shops at one oclock then another at other side of york - homeware items at 15.00pm. Cacking it now as they will see my 2 refunds on meat and wine - hey ho their pricing error.

Thing is i don't have smart phone and was posting here at 10.58 so couldn't have been in York for 11am to use as 40 minute drive away :o.

So have they sent 2 cards out same number, is it the same person who didn't 'load' my card pretending he did?
Seem to remember another poster saying had recieved 0 amount card from CS but can't remember the outcome.
I am so offended at the suggestion that I have already used it!! All the peole who know me would laugh at a suggestion of any dishonesty. Might stick to Mr A in future even if wine glitches...:(
