CQ, could you please confirm what size your DE was? The ones that I find in £1 land, 99p shop etc are usually the smaller 150g size. If you have 227g for £1 then that is a bargain and I will be off on a mission to find it. I am a bit of a filter coffee fiend (I can't drink instant since i went off it whilst pregnant) and I have filter coffee at least twice a day so could do with a cheap source. Or better still a glitch!
Thank you.
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0 -
Just sending you a big hug. i know what you mean about this thread its fab as you can always get help glitch wise, financially or emotionally.
Dont feel bad about the dog. Before my husbands alcoholism got bad he decided to tke up husky racing and we ended up with 13 dogs at one point. After the pups had been sold we ended up with 6. So when his problem got worse I ended up looking after them aswell as everything else. In the end we rehomed them all to good homes and just kept our little terrier booboo.
the dogs were better off and we got some semblance of order back.
Just look after yourself and your son.
Rose I've been thinking about you and your DD, I hope you can get the situation with your siblings sorted. You need to look after your little family at the minute, they need to pick up the slack.

Just had some £50 - 550 points wine delivered. You get a 5p off on fuel coupon valid until 24th March plus a few Pyrex vouchers.
Might help somebody as I would have saved nearly £3 if I'd had that earlier lol0 -
Dear SD,
I don't post here very often as I don't feel like I have a lot to say. I am new and don't have a lot to contribute but I am around most of the time and have read all your posts. I didn't feel like I could read and not respond to this one. I really, really feel for you. What you are coping with from The Beast would have tipped me over the edge ages ago. You really must be a saint. You are doing the absolute best thing by finding him a loving home. As far as those animal rescue people are concerned please try to remember what it says in someone's signature (sorry forgotten who!) but I think it's a great mantra to hold on to, it's along the lines of 'remember opinions are not facts, listen to them but then move on'. They don't know you and your situation. You must do what is best for you and ultimately for The Beast. I think your son must be very proud of you and your strength. Even if he is too young now to see it, he definitely will look back when he is older and marvel at the way you are dealing with things. I hope you don't feel that I am intruding. I just wanted you to know that even though we don't know each other, I am thinking of you and actually you are an inspiration. Please don't stay away. I have seen that there are other people on here who care about you very much and your posts may just help other people to know that they are not alone in their problems and maybe help them to cope better with what they are going through. I know that sometimes other people's problems can help me to put mine in perspective a bit. Thank you for sharing with us and please know that you have certainly helped me. I will go back into (mostly) lurkdom now but hope to contribute more when I am able.
Love and hugs xxx
What a lovely post.
SpirallingDown and Rose, what an awful time you are both having at the minute, things will hopefully work out the best for you sometime soon. Please take care.
Been back to the docs again with DS, been up all night with bad stomach and they now think he may be suffering with IBS, has anyone got any tips, as he has been having toilet trouble for 18 months. He also suffers badly with migraines.0 -

Only thing missing was the lamb DTD - they had both on shelf in different areas with the correct price showing for each, so no point going through the charade of picking up one and claiming another customer had left it in the wrong place etc, don't want to get banned, do I?
So - my big shop came to nearly £200 after coupons, including the £5 off £40 (till spit for another one the same valid until 31/3.
Points this visit 325.
2 x double points coupons (Tesco & Amex) will give me another 400 points.
Also picked up the free Lindt choccy bunny.
Now better find somewhere to hide all the beer from my wife[/
Hi could you tell me more about the Lindt bunny please?0 -
I just redeemed a 40p off a Mars bar today with snap & save, the shop didn't have a clue as usual, but the manager followed the instructions and did it pretty quickly.
That's my 3rd redemption at different stores if you include the free Kitkat.
I was hoping for free Fairy tabs, but none have appeared only another free Kitkat.
Does the Kitkat count towards the 3?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
