Had an appt with doctor this morning as i have had a pain in my chest for a couple of days. he decided it was a pulled muscle due to being violently sick on sunday. he took my bp and pulse and they are both a normal levels. So that is good. dd is having a sleep and I am catching up with housework.
My older sis has been home for a few days so mum has been ok but she is off again this evening. I have been told not to leave dd alone for now as she is still at risk. she even came into my appt this morning. So i was hoping that younger sis would take over for a few days but it seems she has arranged to be away Friday and Sat walking and discussed it with other sister ( obviously too frightened to speak to me 1st) and said she would look after Mum tommorow and Thursday and then have her over Sunday. So she then called me and said she would be away but she would look after Mum thursday ( no mention of Wednesday). I am really at the end of my tether with this whole situation. My life is in freefall financially and mentally and no one seems to be taking any notice. I had finally thought that some semblance of order might appear in my life but the events of last week have put paid to that. Dont think I am not sympathetic to my daughter's problems but i find it really hard to keep up my spirits.
  • Well I gave Mr T one hell of a beating lol

Only thing missing was the lamb DTD - they had both on shelf in different areas with the correct price showing for each, so no point going through the charade of picking up one and claiming another customer had left it in the wrong place etc, don't want to get banned, do I?

So - my big shop came to nearly £200 after coupons, including the £5 off £40 (till spit for another one the same valid until 31/3.

    Points this visit 325.

2 x double points coupons (Tesco & Amex) will give me another 400 points.

Also picked up the free Lindt choccy bunny.

Now better find somewhere to hide all the beer from my wife :o

Hey I hope you slept well SD. Playing by the rules aint so bad you dont have to worry about old misdemeanors catching up with you.

You need to concentrate on you for now otherwise you are going to drive yourself nuts !

The Dog really has to move on, its better for him and you. He needs more space than you can give him and you need less to worry about and deal with.

Its not selfish or cruel. Quite the opposite. Believe me you are very much loved here and I know it sounds daft a load of virtual strangers. But we are people you can trust and talk to. PM anyone if you feel you dont want it public. We all came on here looking for something. Initially money saving but that is usually because we are struggling in RL. And its not all about money.

What we found on the whole is friendship.

You are my friend and I think of you often xxxx:Axxxx

I managed to sleep a bit, 3hrs and feel awful but thanks for asking. I agree with you on the playing by the rules, I've too many other things to be worrying about to have to keep looking over my shoulder.
The dog situation is hard because he's on a waiting list which hopefully is a lot shorter after the bank holiday weekend as they took in quite a few in on Sunday.
I do think of you all as friends, I know I can unburden my problems on here but I feel if I disclosed all of them someone may recognise me and don't want that:o

I came on the forums initially because DH was in hospital and had no prospects of going back to work for quite a while so needed to ave money. Due to the amount of time looking after him I never got the chance of ever looking on any of the threads, we existed on woopsies and very strict portion control, freezing leftovers to use near the end of the month when money was tight.
I only ever started to post shortly after he died, I really needed to save, I had so many debts that I was drowning. I managed to muddle through while inside I just wanted to block the world out, DS was and still is my sole reason for going on. Things are hard but so long as he's happy things will be ok.
I found on this thread a place where I feel comfortable to talk about things and I thank you all xx
