Cheers me dears ... Think I might have a wee baileys in that if ya don't mind ... I'm in rather a celebratory mood today ... On top of the huge savings I just found out that finally scotland is getting to the polls ... Yes it may be 18 months away .. But a date has been set so that the decision can finally be made :)
We're celebrating down here too - looking forward to re-erecting Hadrian's Wall builder-smiley-emoticon.gif.

Well done on weight loss TW :T.

I've been watching that brickie. He's very meticulous about positioning that one brick isn't he!!:rotfl:

Well the snow is coming down in huge flakes and I need to set off from OHs house to mine, a journey of 35 miles. This could be interesting!!
25 miles is motorway but getting up the hill to my house could be a challenge.

Taking calls with m Team today so ill be at my desk (assuming I can reach it). Meals were prepared yesterday - there's a huge pan of "Oh my Goodness, the veg is going off, what can I do with it so I don't have to throw it out, soup (OMGTVIGOWCIDWISIDHTTIO Soup) and I did a lean turkey mince bolognese too so might have that with a bit of pasta/spaghetti today.

It has all the potential to be a No Spend Day.

Ill be checking in at various points.

Hope you all have safe, but lucrative Fridays!!:T

  • Two inches of snow and counting. Howling gale, blizzard conditions out of the window. I have a doctor's appointment at 15:30. This should be interesting!

I'm so itching to get to the end of the month to see how I've done.
Going to ring the mortgage people today to ask about overpaying. Don't want to do it on 1st of month if it's interest busting properties don't kick in until following month. Much better to wait or until just before the end of the month to get the full benefit.

    Phew!

We've had quite a bit of snow in the night and I thought I was going to have to go out in it, but not just out, out into the Yorkshire hills which didn't enthral me, because my car is useless in snow!!

Anyway, I don't have to go now, so I can stay in and do all the work I still have to do.

Preparing for my Team Meeting tomorrow morning at 9am.

Might have a go at a SOA, but can't find it on the forum. Can anyone direct me to it, or post a link?

    Cheers and happy Saturday.

Well, my direct debit for my "wage" has been applied for from my business account so that'll be on its way to my Halifax current account to comply with the £5 reward rules of a deposit of at least £1,000 per month. Then the standing order takes it across to my Lloyds account to pay all my bills.

I need to cash up this evening ready for banking tomorrow morning. That'll replenish the pot. Also have to chase up a bacs payment that should have gone through by now but hasn't.

Expecting all three credit card statements in tomorrow's post. Funny how they've all ended up together, 21/22/23 of the month. It wasn't designed that way!!
I'll be able to adjust my signature to reflect a pleasing month for getting the CC debt down. Should be able to flatten the Lloyds CC and Halifax CC which means the only CC debt I have now is all at 0%.

Feels like I'm finally in control and moving forward!!
