So frustrated.
A colleague has posted me two cheques for money she owes me but has "sent them next door" whilst I was away. I've popped a note through asking them to drop the letter Back through my letter box but I REALLY needed to bank them today and the letter hasn't materialised yet.Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200
Mortgage at end 08/2018: £71646 paid £18354 (20.5%)

Well the promised rain has just arrived - lucky I got all my holiday washing done yesterday!!
Also had to back track and put the CH on. It's just so cold in the house and although I've got jumpers on, it's my hands which are cold, I can't type, and if I can't type, I can't work, so on it went!!!! :mad:Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

OMG:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I've just calculated that with flights, hotels and spending money, Rome/Assisi trip has just cost us £2,000:eek:
Sorting cash around now to mitigate the damage on the CC.
There have been April spends of £1,643 but £672 of that belongs to our companions so that leaves £971 belonging to myself and OH, which I need to clear before I'm effectively paying money off the CC.
I'll be back in a while to update.......:eek:Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Right - sorted!
To achieve my goal of a net CC balance reduction of £350, I need to pay off £1,362:eek: before 30th April.
I've cleared £265 already which clears the balances on both cards which charge interest so that's removed any chance of interest charges this month as all the Rome spends will be on this month's statement. The rest of the balance is at 0%.
I'll setup payments when I can but post date them to hit the card after the statement date to count towards next month's payment.
=========================================
In other news, I've transferred £300 into my ISA to cover my tax bill due 31st July 2013
I've transferred the £0.12 and £7.91 interest received on 5th April on old ISAs, along with my £300 team bonus, my Penelope Pig/£2 coin tin (£270) and £200 from our holiday/fun fund to my Overpayments account ready for paying off CCs after the statements dates.
This gives me a shortfall of £319 to find by 30th April.
I'm covering colleagues' groups before then which will hopefully bring in £240 so I'm almost there and OH has promised some too.
