Lord only knows how easyjet calculate the respective standard and flexi prices. Having done a bit of playing with different departure and destination points I have come up with numerous cases where the cheapest day for a standard fare is the dearest for a flexi fare........my brain hurts.....
Just something to be aware of. When you change the flight date online it does not let you reserve a specific seat for the new date. May cause a problem for families needing to sit together
Thanks for all the replies, to answer some of the questions, i was looking at both Southend or Stansted airports and the kids are 8 and 14.
I dont think Easyjet fly from Stansted to Faro now that they have Southend. I couldn't find any flights. The only other alternative (excluding Gatwick) was Luton.
I booked flights this week in September to/from Southend/Faro and was surprised how much more expensive the return flight was.
