            i never mentioned disability,
under 25's on JSA of £56 a week will be required to pay in my area that is a minimum of £180. a really substantial part of their entitlement0

Do they? You normally get moved down a band for disability related things like having a room for equipment or a hospital bed etc.
Only Band D in our area and above pay 100% of the rate other bands pay a lesser proportion and above Band D pay more.(regardless of the disabiilty issue).
They would of course also need to be on a sufficient income and not entitled to council tax benefit. So not sure I really understand where this is all going. The most wasted day is one in which we have not laughed.0

The bottom line is what started this recent tangent was someone saying to someone "move somewhere smaller"
It's all smoke and mirrors anyway. The most wasted day is one in which we have not laughed.0

It's quoting the wrong posts again! I quoted the poster who said you get a discount because of disability, which is wrong.0

Most people don't have that, the disabled people I know a) work with me, b) are elderly or C) work elsewhere.0

Well actually you do in some instances as I've outlined above in banding for disability (but that is unrelated to income).
Sorry editing post as we crossed in posting. And so your point is you don't know anyone it applies to?The most wasted day is one in which we have not laughed.0
