  • Hi Fred - sorry if it was too late but my results don't seem to be on this weeks chart. Has it been added on ?

I'm going to have to try and mix things up again after a few weeks of eating out and cakes ! But with the 1st anniversary of my Mum's passing coming up in the next week I feel the binge eating coming on :( so I hope I can reel the monster in before it gets too out of control!

Congratulations Durham Min it is a great feeling isn't it :D

Sorry it missed the chart - takes me the best part of an hour to do the chart when the computer plays up like it was this week - I've added it on though so when next weeks chart is posted it will be included.

Sorry to hear of your Mum's passing - try not to binge - but if you do don't beat yourself up - just pick yourself up and start eating normally again.

21kg down in the last year. My secret, nothing fancy, smaller meals, healthy food and exercise, no faddy diets, just strong will power and healthy eating! ( and lots of tuna! )

    Hi all,
I hope you don't mind me joining you guys on here. I have been reading through a lot of this thread and really like the support you give each other.

I decided in January while on holiday that I needed to lose some weight due to my wife and I having a 6 month old baby. I started to eat healthier and do a bit more exercise from the 20th January. I already play football and train once a week so was doing about 4hrs exercise a week. I now walk the dog for between 3-5 miles every morning at 5.30am before work, doing it in 15 minute miles and also bought a cross trainer and do two sessions a week of 90 mins.
I weigh myself every Monday morning before work and managed to lose 5lb this week.
My total loss since I started 8wks ago is 3 stone 3.8lbs so just about 46lb.

I am really pleased with the loss but I am now struggling to find nice things to eat that aren't boring, fruit and Mullerlight yogurts are making me feel sick just to look at them.

Anyway hopefully I will get the support here and can also help support others.

    Hi all!

Apologies for not being on; I have had a bit of a roller coaster - I have been told by a health professional that I may have a thyroid problem (hence why not losing a lot of weight!) so am going for investigations over the next couple of weeks.

Can I put my membership on hold until then please?

Thanks :) and congrats to the losers this week!
  • Another STS. Going well this month...

God knows how I'll get this inherently lazy monkey off my back.
  • Morning all,

I'm with WhiteRose in the STS club - had a tummy upset for the last few days, so not sure if that has helped or hindered! I'm off to France for a couple of days on Friday, will try to avoid the croissants.....

Welcome to Tich and Novocanada :)

6.5 hours exercise for me this week!
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j
  • Forgot to say - WhiteRose, if you find a way of shedding the monkey, please let me know!! I was so tired last night that I trotted off to bed about 9.30!
