I found Martin's guide very useful I had some old gold to sell that was just sat in my jewellery box gathering dust. I searched a few companies online, I ended up selling it to a company called Buymyjewellery.com I was a bit sceptical at first about selling online, but I have to say that I was really pleased with the outcome. They gave me a very good price they sent me out a pack and they paid me more than the gold for pieces with diamonds in. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

Best to find a jeweller who specialises in Indian Gold, Google should produce some suitable jewellers, one who may be near to you

I havent used them yet but have got a pack from Vintage Cash Cow. they seem to be popular and I have been impressed by the service so far. The people I have spoken to have been v professional. I have 2 gold rings to send off, I have had a cash price from a local jewellery shop. They have said if you dont like the price they offer, they send it back. they provide you with a tracked pre paid label. get the pack or look on the website to see what you think. i will post back once I have actually got the parcel off etc
