efforts are going well in the Keza household!

Went to the party last night and didnt spend a penny - only due to DH paying for cab home and the one or two drinks i had. unsure how much he spent but i was sure to nab the shrapnel and 3 x £2 coins from his wallet this morning ready for the pot before he hides them! he had 6 x £2 coins last night but wouldnt surrender them as they were beer money! :o:mad:

anyway 3 of them are now in my possession :)

im working OT today so am very busy today, yesterday was a day of housework as I just dont seem to find the time to clean nowadays!

We have made a joint push effort to get £250 together extra dosh for the savings for March so in effect we are a little ahead of what we planned now :)

now onto the April efforts - i have a huge pile of stuff to 3b@y later so will be sure to get on with that this evening.

so thats 3 x £2 coins for the pot and £1.16p shrapnel for the sealed pot for today

happy sunday (st patricks day) everyone :D

morning all! cold, foggy and icy here this morning and lots of traffic getting to work!

I plan on today not being a NSD as i need to get milk butter and orange juice! am also out of toilet cleaner too but will wait till the shopping day on thursday for that!

It will be a personal NSD as the groceries come from their own designated budget :)

treated us to a new silent night bounceback duvet and 2 pillows - cost me nothing! i went through topc@$hback for the purchase from my catalogue, i had £65 of cashback there so they paid me £1.18 to have them :) :money: awesome! :j

thats it for efforts today i think, payday for DH isnt until thurs and mine isnt till monday so pennies are few and far between at the moment :o

had to pay £900 to our solicitor yesterday so thats made a dent in our hard work so far and puts us behind yet again :(

we have no spent over £4,000 on legal fees which was hard graft savings for the mortgage - makes me so mad that we have been put in this position.

Today is the first grocery shop of the month and we are out of quite a few things - will report bk later as to how it went.

ooo ouch! we are certainly in the wrong line of work!

a year or so ago we had to sort out probate for my FIL and the solicitors wanted a % that would have amounted to around £14k to do it for us! nu uh we said. DH got all the forms, spent a few evenings traipsing through them and did it himself.

they are generally overpaid parasites in my experience.

yesterdays shopping trip wasnt too shabby either. i got to mr T's and thought id forgotten all my coupons but luckily i found them in my purse :D (obv losing some brain cells while juggling too many full time jobs !)

Our grand total was £49.84 but this came down to £30.83 after coupons so thats £19.01 into the pot :) every little helps as Mr T says ;)

today im going lunch with my friend and have a voucher for a free coffee so no spend day here i hope! :money:
