He would jump at the chance for me to move up. Would I just ask him out right? if he was up for the trial?
My work would want 8-12weeks max before I have to go back.0 -

That sounds like a good idea. Could you transfer the permanently if it all worked out?Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Yeah, they would allow me to transfer permantly. Even this would be a big jump for me. It'll be my first time out of Plymouth if you get me?
It would move so quick. If I was to ask tomorrow. I'd be in Manchester on Monday0 -

It doesn't have to move that quickly though, ask for a trial run up there but maybe after Easter, so that you've got time to prepare.
Oh, and yes you do need to be absolutely sure he'd be ok with this! Its only been 8 months, have you talked about this seriously enough to do it? Does he have room for you? Could you afford a hotel room to finish out the time at work if it all went wrong?
Remember...contingency plans, very important!0 -
If I said I would go help out work would have me in Manchester on monday
We have discussed it yes about me moving up. He has his own place and has room for me. I'll talk to him when he finishes work see what he says. Work have said they would pay for a hotel as I am helping them out.0 -

I'm in a international ldr, while the distance is hard, and flights are expensive it is worth it. We do have an end goal though and that makes it a lot easier we know when we'll hopefully be able to close the distance0
