Wow, what is/was a short and sweet comp? Was it a one off or do they do them regularly?

Does anyone know how long it takes for a locked review to get re-read and unlocked at all?

Ciao have a bonus promotion on during June and July.

Reviews on games will get 50p extra (minimum helpful rating), reviews on applications, watches and tea & coffee an extra £1!

Try and work your reviews for maximum money from Ciao AND DOoyoo :)

Would be interested to hear how other people rate on dooyoo. I go through the list of who has rated mine and read then rate theirs and then go and work my way through the new reviews. Also, I then pick any random member who obviously rates lots and then go through as many of their reviews as I can. I have noticed that they often then return the similar quantity that I have done. :) Win Win situation :)

I just do my return rates (I like to do that) then afterwards, I'll tend to read/rate at random, although I give preference to topics that I'm interested in.

I started off by rating about 300 reviews before posting my first.

For the first 10 or so reviews I wrote, I would post mine and then immediately rate as many people as I could find.

Now I continually rate everyone on the "newest review" list, and then whenever I receive a rate or a visit I return it if possible. There is one dooyoo poster who posts quite a few reviews who seems to rate others but has never rated me back. Strange, as I've rated her at least 15 x. So I simply ignore her reviews.

    I'm still addicted!!

Oooh, I got a crown for my first review. Not sure I really understand what one is but I gather it's a good thing.

So, you can put the same reviews on Ciao and Dooyoo and that's OK?

Well done CC2! What a great start!

I looked at ciao and crossed one of my reviews but to be honest, I haven't got the time to be doing lots of rating on there as well as Dooyoo so I probably will stick with Dooyoo. Prefer its layout too.

I have just ventured into the discussion area of dooyoo and really enjoying reading some of the subjects in there
when it comes to marking them as useful etc I notice a lot of them are outside the six month time scale.

I know discussion works slightly different to the rest of the site so is it still beneficial to the writer of review for me to still click useful/very useful etc.?
