    Hello everyone

I've just signed up to dooyoo (well friday) and i've spent this morning working it out and making sure i follow the rules.

Looking for a change from swagbucks as i've gotten really fed up with it nothing crediting so going to give this a go. Plus i love reviewing things and always do on amazon so added bonus for me as its something i enjoy doing :j

Just a question for the long time members. How many reviews should/shouldnt i write a day, i'd happily write till the cows come home but i dont want to end up with people hating me :rotfl::rotfl:

Also is there anyway to tell where my dooyoomiles have come from. I've left 2 reviews so far, each for 600DYM but i have a total of 1250 so i have 50 extra from somewhere. I'm guessing it could be from people rating my review but is there anyway to tell?

    Pretty much what Listerbelle said.

It's not obligatory to give return rates, but it is considered good etiquette.

I personally find that if I publish one review per day or every other day, I earn more, as most people will only read/rate one of anyone's reviews each day, so to publish a lot, will miss out on a few reads/rates, hence lost revenue (it's only a tiny bit, but surprising how quickly it mounts up).

    Good luck!

I'm now just shy of 75 pounds. I signed up late March - I think. I wrote the occasional review in the early days, and then started in earnest in late April or early May.

I've also just discovered Amazon's grocery section due to Dooyoo - so many treats to be found there!!

Well done Listerbelle! Thats really good going!

I am really getting into the amazon groceries and just gutted I have run out of funds (free gift cards) for the time being.

So far I have bought a rather large amount of andrex toilet rolls, 2 tubes of toothpaste, 16 bars of dove soap, 8 bottles of fabric conditioner, 4 braun electric toothbrush heads, a humongous amount of tetley teabags and just awaiting delivery of 70 dentastix for my gorgeous chocolate lab, Max.

I am sure I have only touched the surface of the grocery section but have also just signed up for camelcamelcamel which tracks prices for you on amazon and lets you know when something you like is at a good price. I didn't realise how volatile amazon prices were till I used this handy little tool and think it will be excellent for my tight wad ways. :D

I'm glad someone asked about how often to post reviews at first, because I was going to ask exactly the same thing! I know I'm going to be short of time this week and completely without internet access Fri, Sat and Sun, so any I do write I am just doing in Word and not putting them on Dooyoo just yet.

I'm finding it difficult to keep up with who I have returned rates to and who I haven't. Is there an easy way to keep on top of it?

  • You can use the 'who rated me?' page or you could work through reviews returning rates from them all and then visit the newest reviews page to get some extra rates in.
  • Does anyone know what time the crowns are usually issued on a Tuesday? Also good luck to everyone on Crown Day!

I tend to open the Who Rated me page in one tab and Reviews Rated in another and work backwards from where they match.

I Just got my first crown! I'm so pleased :)

I have been a member nearly two weeks and have almost 12,000 miles. I have learned that a quality review every day or two far outweights a few reviews each day. I also spend more time reading and rating other peoples reviews now than actually writing them - this gives each of your reviews a good chance of being read and rated back.

I love this site and cannot see myself ever getting bored of it, unless I run out of things to review!

Well done on the crown :j

Does anyone give themselves a target on dooyoo?

I've given myself a "target" of £1 a day. I write either 1 600dym review or 2 300dym reviews in the morning and then spend the rest of my spare time during the day rating other peoples reviews in hopes to get return rates to make up the extra :)

Haha, You do exactly what I do.

Although I usually just write one review a day and TRY and get a lot of ratings.
