welcome to the site - feedback from me (and only my opinion) some good opinion in the reviews but you first is hard to read as not in paragraphs - I tend to not get to the end of reviews that are hard to read as I've read quite a lot on the site.....so anything not easily laid out, or overlong or riddled with typos I struggle with (you haven't done either of the latter two things so all good)

also read a few reviews in the category you are going to write in, it will help - I find beauty reviews really hard - for shower stuff etc some idea of how many nasties in it is quite helpful sometimes, ---- you haven't described the bottle in nauseating detail which is a definite plus in my book :)

Nice to see lots of new members on the site - I am worried a few people will be disappointed (not particularly aimed at anyone here) as some people have plunged straight in and then are totally ignoring constructive criticism when their reviews are not good quality enough for dooyoo to pay out on in my experience - ie hitting SU consistently.

i think with the help of this thread, folks from here should be ok even with a shaky start. hope so anyway. it is hard knowing how to write for dy when you start out but i always recommend reading lots first to get an idea of how to write a review. i am still fairly new myself so finding my way about but i like it a lot.

to all the newbies... hello! don't be nervous. write the best you can about something you really like or hate - that would be my advice because it is easy to write about stuff you have strong feelings about. if you don't get "very usefuls" at first then don't worry, just correct the issue next time.

people comment a fair bit on DY which i like. that will help you too.

I was and still am nervous about writing reviews but i've started reading up on how to write a good review and have taken on board many things. I have also said on my about me section that tips are welcome and i have received a few which is great.

I'm hoping to get pretty good at reviewing. :)

everyone here has the right attitude and I get the feeling dooyoo are keen to give people the chance to learn and improve and some breathing space at the start - which we all need - it's more people who don't read anything at all and don't take on board anything that is suggested to them that are the worry - getting reviews locked is a bit of a pain I imagine.

but yes, don't be nervous - if you have the right motivation and are able to express an informed opinion in ok English it's a great site - you don't have to be of professional writer standard or anything at all.

2nd review done. I'm getting the hang of the site layabout now. So hopefully my writing is up to scratch.

    Well done Listerbelle!
