Why would a review get locked?

I just posted a review, now I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with it :o I dont suppose you can "delete" it?

you can edit reviews you are not happy with but can't delete - though if you pm the team they may remove it for you if you have a good reason.

Reviews normally get locked if they are not premium quality (see rule page), not based on ownership or are copied - they might get locked if eg the spelling is poor or not 150 words of opinion, contain anything offensive or, sometimes, if a company complains about the review I think. Locked means that dooyoo have decided they won't pay for the review - one of the things guides do, as well as nominating reviews is to flag up any reviews that might not be of premium quality.

    Hope this answers your question.

One of my reviews was locked because the website concerned complained about it. It was a negative review, but I offered a more balanced opinion of it and it was unlocked... I am aware Dooyoo can't afford any legal problems, but it is a shame someone can't give their *uncensored* negative opinion without some fear of a review being locked.

Obviously this doesn't apply to reviews without enough detail or with poor spelling, or those copied or those about the wrong product or a product the reviewer doesn't own, etc.

If you want to negatively review a website be sure to include order numbers and any other relevant information that doesn't identify your personal details to anyone other than the company. Maybe account number or order number, I have done a few negatives in the past and never had a problem. I even had Bob Martin message me and send me lots of free products in the hope I would have something better to say about them - I didn't :rotfl:

Gonads have to be added to the catalogue.

Then we can review the effects of Lush products and Yankee Candles on gonads.

i have lowered the tone with my glittery fanjo. it is only a matter of time the the gonads start to appear (so to speak)
