It's quieter than it's ever been I think - I think the earnings potential has gone down unless you have 500 bottles of perfume, it does generally get quieter in summer but it used to be fairly easy to get 100 rates per review - I'm struggling for 50. A lot of people who used to be around aren't any more- no idea why - maybe they are more active on ciao or elsewhere - a lot of people moved to helium a while back - or maybe they are just busy

I have only been on the site for less than a week (I think anyway without checking the date that I joined) so I can't say review rates have dropped or not.

The highest amount of ratings I've had is for my review on the Chicco Trio Living Travel System.

I joined years ago and never kept it up so now I'm trying to tackle my debt, decided to give it another go and see if I can make a little money from reviews.

I spent some time today just reviewing things I have at home, is there anything obvious I should be doing? Been reading and rating other peoples reviews.

My points show as pending, does that change over time?

Not sure if we are allowed to 'add' each other or if discussing that is spam on the MSE forums.

you have answered it... i am v new remember so i have no back history to go on so it was helpful to me. thanks
the 500 bottles of perfume thing is v odd but then again i have lots of things like speakers, guitars etc which could perhaps look equally dodgy.
there is a definate influx of newbies on the site, some of whom do not welcome any pointers

I know I haven't been active this week as I have had a lot of other things going on both online and offline. Perhaps others have been busy too?

I do notice that when the weather is nicer (as it has been here - apart from yesterday) that it tends to quieten down, the same with summer of course (if we have one).

I've been reading crowned reviews for hints, hope to do a few reviews each day. I do enjoy writing but not sure if I'm any good at it lol
