:o I have a huge gap the other way - 3,000 people didn't rate me back

Well I think my gap was about 15,000 and while initially I just worked on returning all rates etc, I've gone up 6,000 just by rating people naturally really... I think almost 7,000. About 8,400 to go... Usually go up a few hundred a month!

If you want to bridge the deficit, old users NEVER rate back.

Why does it feel much longer?

I've rated 145 reviews so far and working on doing some more as I write.

Re: The site getting a warning - as mentioned before it might be an advert on the page - dooyoo using affiliate adverts so one of the ads could have caused your security software to flag up the site as being dodgy, even though the rest of the site is fine.

@Miwa - A lot of people don't like criticism even if it constructive. I go on another forum where I was trying to help someone with their CV and covering letter along with some other forum members - he really didn't take to it well and it ended with the thread being deleted. The silly thing was he had asked for feedback!

Of the reviews I read I prefer the ones which give a general overview of what it is actually like to use the product - I have gone down this route too, not that I am trying to copy that style it just seems to have happened that way.

No one has left any negative comments so far and I think all my reviews are "Very Useful" so I seem to be on the right track.

I haven't been on much in the last few days but I'm going to try to start rating a lot more reviews and hopefully post some more reviews.
