Ciao's pay structure is different to that of Dooyoo. If you keep plugging at Ciao and some people give you E ratings on your reviews, it creeps up, then surprise surprise at around the middle of the month, there's the premium fund shareout which makes your earnings leap up considerably overnight, of course depending on how large a part of the shareout you receive.

Ahh I see, I was wondering why anyone bothered with Ciao to be honest but this makes sense, think I will stick at it then, thanks for the info

Only personal opinion, but I think it's worth sticking with. I must confess I actually, on a monthly basis, earn more on Ciao than on Dooyoo. The more E ratings you get for your reviews on Ciao, the better your share of the premium fund will be mid-month. You can also cross-post reviews on both sites, but I find it's a good idea to say somewhere on the review that's what you've done. I usually put at the bottom of all my reviews "Also published on Ciao (or Dooyoo) under my ..... name" - I change the name for both sites, as I have a different name on each (am GentleGenius on Dooyoo and CelticSoulSister on Ciao).

    Good luck!

I also do well on Ciao. Even on months when I've had just one or two reviews receive E's I have had from £4 upwards :)

I usually get quite a bit more than this each month and a few pounds throughout the month for ratings, although I don't spend much time on Ciao really, just post and run I guess...

My income does vary on Ciao I suppose, with the least I've made being around £35 for a month, and the most around £75. On Dooyoo, it can take me six to eight weeks to make that magic £50, and I publish all my reviews on both sites simultaneously. Dooyoo used to be faster to earn on, but less so now. Mind you, although I always return rates and browse through sometimes rating what I fancy, I don't rate anywhere near as much as I used to due to lack of time. I found when I rated at random more, people were more inclined to rate me back.

I finally got around to signing up to Ciao as well. It's a bit confusing! Not nearly as easy to navigate as Dooyoo. Is there an easy way to see who has rated you on there?

You can see on each review who has rated it.

If I am thinking correctly (it is very late - sorry!) there are e-mail alerts you can sign up to. I think mine tell me that x amount of people have rated this review. So I could work through each review daily if I wanted to.

    Hope this helps.

I'm not liking the new design on ciao so looks like I'll be spending more time back on dooyoo!
