Valli get well soon
Not much flying achieved yesterday - just washed dishes and 3 x WM. We were visiting family to meet our gorgeous new nephew
Today looks more productive. As well as going for a 10 mile run (half marathon training!) and meeting a friend for coffee, I have:
Sorted dry laundry
2 x WM
Stripped bed
Emptied kitchen bin and recycling
Washed dishes x 2
Put chicken and spuds on for roast dinner
For the rest of the day I plan to:
2 more x WM
Ironing
Wash dishes
Vacuum all upstairs and mop bathroom
Put clean sheets on bed.
HHC 16.45 to 17.15 off I go - join in if you can!0 -
Valli - in the post - don't worry about the stamp, I found 48 I'd forgotten about yesterday (sure I can spare you one).

Hi everyone
I have not properly started working on the lists yet but I will be joining in full swing from tomorrow.
I have cleaned both bathrooms to within an inch of their life today so feel good for getting that job out of the way.
Does a new list start tomorrow or is the same list for every week?
Also why is there nothing for the weekend?
Thanks KM x0 -
Get well soon vibes Valli, and Dusty, isn't it time you had a bit of a rest, anyway? Jazee I'm so pleased SickDog has recovered enough to be allowed off the lead. Wonderful news.
Soggy bits of bedroom carpet have now been soaked with the appropriate cleaning fluid and the spare stuff in the tank has been spread across various bits of office (dog-stained) carpet. Dog has been butter and tramadoled and is snoozing as a result.
The WM has been churning all day and everything that's been washed has been hung out so far. Several more loads to go. OH cleaned the hob and ran the DW, and the Portuguese lodger has bought us a rib of beef - his favourite UK thing of all time is roast dinners. Good-oh. And then OH trotted back to the Co-0p and got us some Yorkshires to go with it. Excellent, as he's cooking tonight, too. I've eaten a Frog that's been hanging around for 15 months, so all in all, I'm rather chuffed with the day. (The house is filthy though, so I'm going to have to do some serious flying this week. Boo hiss.)Better is good enough.0 -

KM well done on the bathroom cleaning - my least fave job! There is a new list each week starting on Monday. Weekends are supposed to be for relaxing! But we all often end up doing a but of flying on those days. I've found that by doing at least half hour each weekday after work that I can spare a bit of my weekends for relaxing and having fun.
In my HHC:
Emptied and reloaded WM
Hung said WM clothes on airers
Put clean sheets on bed
Emptied upstairs bins
Hoovered all upstairs
Mopped bathroom
Now onto finishing off dinner. After dinner I will CONSIDER ironing. Haha, not very committed to it!0 -
Honey Bear I'm not a relaxing sort of person
My mother popped in so I made some scones and stopped for a cuppa.
Cat has worms so need to order some tablets - will try the butter trick as he is a devil to give them to.
I have a Governor frog to chew, not a big one so I will do it in the hour DS3 is at badminton then have my dinner. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening ladies
Didnt get to read too far back but big hugs for Dusty's family for FIL and get well vibes for Valli. Hugs/spoons too for skintbreeder, Lamewolf, Honeybear and someone else sorry cant think who with poorly pooches. Remebering too Toots and LadyLiberty xx
Today has been spent food shopping including some big stock ups as its the beginning of the pay month for me. Big mistake taking DH!!!! Rest of the day has been spent rearranging cupboards, freezers and under stairs cupboards but at least I now everything is away where I doubted it would be. Just enjoying a glass if vino while I wait for the roast to cook so will catch up with you all hopefully on the new thread while checking the stability of the wagon (dont want to fall off yet again!)Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Thanks for your good wishes - much appreciated but the trials some of you go through put my minor ailments into perspective - Lady Liberty especially, but of course our own tame wolf, too;) also I know of two chidren fighting cancer atm...so there you go, It's a cold. On the plus side it's kept me from flying a lot; though I have done a bit and there's no-one to complain at the mess;) I have told DD she's in training for living in student accomodation (yes it's THAT bad)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Evening, and hugs (but keep your germies to yourself) to the poorlies. <chuckles> iPad tried to change germies to termites lol. Keep those to yourself too
Kiddies are away to bed, following much scrubbing of DS face - will bob a pic on in a mo and you'll see why... They've had a good time this weekend, and both seem very happy at the mo - big change from a week ago.
I'll be off to bed before long as I can feel my eyes getting fuzzy. But I've straightened all up, two big cakes in freezer, washing collected ready for tomorrow, bin and recylcing emptied, and nursery bits out ready for morning.
My plumber never got back to me, so asked my dad tonight if he knew one, (not) but after explaining the problem, he said next weekend he will take the bath panel off and see if he can sort it. He can try for nothing, and we'll be no worse off if he can't. And, you never know, it might just be something he can fix! Here's hoping the pipe has just fallen off, rather than there never having been a pipe
Will be WFH tomorrow so can get some laundry donewill be a short week for me as MIL is coming Tuesday for DS swimming lesson, and staying over for the nursery run on Wednesday, as I'm going to London with work till Thursday night. They are keeping the kiddies at theirs so I can get on with decorating DS room on Friday. Should be fairly straight forward as the walls are good and no paper to remove or deep colours to cover, just a case of a freshen up :T
So, see you all in the new Fred, and welcome to Keeping Motivated! Hope you can do some of that for us too! XBossymoo
