    Dusty

I have tried to PM you to take you up on your very kind offer.

Well - what happened to Saturday?

I spent almost two hours getting my tyres (and wheels) sorted out, came home and had lunch.

Went upstairs with the vacuum but a wave of unwellness came over me - upshot was I came downstairs shivering covered myself with a blanket and fell asleep. Was woken by rain hammering on the window - hauled myself outside to get the washing in. Had no appetite; couldn't face tea and went to bed at 8:15. I now have a thick head and what I now think is yet another cold...head%20cold.gif

So nothing else got done. I have washing out now, have cleaned cat litter tray and ironed stuff and am now sitting resting.

Next job is to go to Mr Ms - was way too groggy to make it yesterday afternoon hence the request fro the voucher...

Have thawed the meat - but have nothing to go with it. Also want to make a couple of cottage pies; one for tomorrow and one for the freezer but cannot, without spuds. Shall enlist the help of a teen.

Mrs B - butter worked! Thank you so much for that. She took the miniscule dollop without any trouble at all and got shown a square of white chocolate immediately afterwards to distract her greedy eyes. The result was she didn't try to bite the butter lump so she didn't spit it out. I'm very grateful to you.
That is excellent news;:T I'm going to remember the butter trick myself, in case of future need. Though, that said, the dog-sitting local agent has just sold the franchise, so it's possible that my dog-sitting days may be numbered. We shall have to see what pans out, I guess. At least I still have Mary coming next Saturday.

Mr LW has given my mobility scooter a good clean and hoovered out the little stones that somehow get up inside the mechanism off the drive, so if Mary wants to go out as opposed to having her walkies in the back garden, the scooter's all set. He's currently ploughing his way through Mt Ironmore.:A

I must go and make some batter for out veggie toad-in-the-hole, and make some sort of cake for his lunchbox next week. I sense a lemon cake in the immediate future, as there are some n ice lemons in the fridge.;)

    Morning all

DS3's sleepover pal has gone home. It will be their last weekend play together as he is off to India for 2 years on the weekend, they will miss each other but DS seems fine about it.

    Rain is boring me.

Going to put WM on next and do a HH sorting in the family room then a little paper work, can't believe it's not yet midday, we've all had lunch!

Valli box is probably full. I'll see if I have your address, if not I'll make some space. ETA - space now, hope you feel better soon x

Very puzzled as to why anyone would bid on ebay beds on day three of a ten day auction, even if they are 99p. Excellent stuff. They will be going and I don't have to arrange to take them to the tip. *profitable fling*
    Better is good enough.

Mrs MP well done on the attic work, that is a big job.

Still carrying on bit by bit in the family/dining room. Doing a bit on here then a bit more tidying etc.
