If you have a degree you are in the position to get a job it might not be the job you want initally but you have the next 40 years to get to that point.
I have to sign off now my dd is waking up and I have promised make bread with her
Have fun with bread making!
No one is talking a dream job, but the need to have a job that pays enough for you to live on.:beer:0 -
Phil - get back on topic. If you really want to torture yourself and cover old ground again, go and read your old threads. No need to repeat it all here; it's clear no-one wants to read it.
Fair enough, everyone must surely have a right to enough income to live and to survive on?:beer:0 -

If you're concerned that you won't be earning enough, you'd better look into tax credits or whatever other benefits are out there.Nelly's other Mr. Hyde0 -

I am not concerned about no having enough to live on as I can survive on 70 pounds a week as long as I live at home and maybe I could find a second job to help increase that earning ability.:beer:0 -

You are talking at 300 pound in rent even for a bed sit. Then you have CT, utilities, travel, food, which all adds up.:beer:0 -
Do you expect a decent job to drop in your lap?, IME its been a combination of education, aquired skill set, who I know, being in the right place at the right time and more than a smidgin of good luck to get the job I am in now.
I did a lot of mind numbing tedious jobs, which paid poorly, But I kept in mind the bigger picture of what I actually wanted.
Or find yourself a rich divorced wifey.
To answer the original question, about £1200 for just me, but then that does include a fair few treats.0 -

When you apply for jobs & get a job, you'll learn from that
-but like your Degree things will not turn out way you first imagine in jobs.
