It costs you £175 a month for you just to get to work. It costs me £320 for the whole year to get to work!
You sound like you need a car, but the majority of people I know, particularly near where myself and studentphil live, could manage perfectly well without one.0 -

A car is a big cost but it also brings untold freedom in your life. However, sometimes in life you just have to accept you can afford a car even though it has huge advantages,:beer:0

Well I take home £1k a month and am putting £500pm into regular savings, so I must be managing on £500pm!
