Stolen i phone
Options
Oh God, 2 months into a 2 yr contract and DS1 has had her I phone stolen. I pay £30 month and a fiver insurance which I have just discovered doesn't cover theft !!!!!!?! Apparently the new sim card 02 have sent can't be used in a cheap phone so is my only option to shell out God knows how many hundred quid to buy a new one? Any ideas? Am going to 02 shop tomorrow to try and sort it out but wondered if anyone has experience of this.
Thanks
Thanks

OMG Can it really? Is it possible you can perhaps post me a link to the adaptor thingy that you refer to? If I tell my hubby this he will be so happy. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply.0

Sometimes you can get it for free in a shop.0 -
Thanks Grumbler, just read your edit - yes, I have had a quick read though the board and can see now that the insurance is effectively worthless (although she is an adult and a student) - Ah hindsight is a wonderful thing is it not?0

If she's an adult and a student, why isn't she paying for and organising her own phone? And dealing with the theft? No free lunch, and no free laptop0

iphones aren't the only ones that use a micro sim (although it probably is newer/more expensive ones that do) - there is a list here

Probably the best quality adapters I've seen.
£1.49 for the whole set.
