    What a load of nonsense.

Staff may get an hours lunch.....but they are not paid for the hour.

What about all the time you spend playing on the internet during work hours?

You told us before that you are one of the people the answers calls about Tax Credits. People are always complaining on this forum about how long they have to wait on the tax credit lines to speak to someone.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
Read the sticky on the House Buying, Renting & Selling board.

Yes there might be a strike but the Jobcentre will still be open so I would turn up unless they tell you otherwise.

Perhaps if they put up a bit of a fight at how the Government are treating those on JSA, they might get a bit of sympathy. For instance someone losing a month's money for a single missed appointment is pathetic. But these staff seem happy to sanction people without a second thought.
I for one would hate to Sanction anyone - it would be more a last resort for people who aren't doing anything to find a job.
