It's not the jobcentre staff to blame - they are just trying to do a job based on the rules that the government, that we the people put in power, have told them to enforce.
If you don't like what is happening - tell them that are making it happen - the politicians.[/QUOTE
Did WE?
Did you vote at the last general election?
Or maybe you voted Labour and as such don't think that you should have to put up with what this government are doing.
Unfortunately we live in a democratic country where those that get most votes win. Then we all have to accept the result, much as though for those that voted Conservative if Labour had won.
You have to go with the majority.
Me I refuse to vote, never voted in my life, one party is no different than the other - they are all a load windbags, liars and cheats. Yet I accept who is in power as being rightfully there.0 -

How can you say WE then when you have never voted and BTW this is a coalition no one voted for,
It is sad you don't vote, but that's your democratic right which I would die to up hold
Myself I will vote every election even if I had to vote for an off the wall party, the simple act of walking to the polling station I feel it is sign of solidarity too those who risk their lives to excersie their right to vote round the world and for those who have died for democratic freedom, for those who stand in line for several hours in searing heat to vote.
Education, the Vote are two things this country seems to under value, I would encourage you to give it a try on you first walk to vote think of those images and you will find a sense of freedom.0 -
i think jsa staff take a lot of crap at the end of the day they are just trying to make a living and feed there family and stay of the dole .
dived and conquer is the easiest way to rule0 -
sammyjammy wrote: »And can those on JSA not stand up for themselves and fight their own corner? You make a lot of assumptions that Civil Servants are somehow different from other people. There are Civil Servants earning the equivalent salary of minimum wage that rely on tax credits just like others. They might live in social housing or private rented accommodation and are affected by the benefit changes just like everyone else.
What are you talking about? Why are you going on about the earnings and living arrangements of Civil Servants? I never said anything about their earning capabilities so not sure why you've focused on that. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

What happens if I don't care who is in power or have no opinion either way? Do I just go to the Polling Station and spoil my voting paper to satisfy you?
As for education, to be honest given the quality of it today, it is a complete waste of time and money! Especially when you have 16 year olds leaving school who don't have a clue about basic maths or how to communicate using the written word, mind you if you can understand text communications I suppose that is OK!
Given my time again I would have got out of this country 20 years ago when I was in my teens and given up my British Passport!!
This isn't the country that my dad fought for in the last world war. It isn't England, Ireland, Wales or even Scotland, it is nothing more than a dumping ground for the misfits from the old Soviet block countries + the Middle East and parts of Africa where civil wars are a way of life.
What my grandfather who was wounded in the first World War would have made of it all I dread to think!
So don't start quoting what people died for to me, they died and fought for a different Britain than what it has become.0 -

Oh dear selective reading from a Far right malcontent, where did I mention Britain, people dying for you? , but through you Venom you could not see I was highlighting that some people in other countries die during their attempts to vote, if you do end up voting one day UKIP would welcome you with open arms with posts like that.0 -
The unions might do, but you can't really expect the local JC+ staff to get involved directly with the public.
I don't. I'm just pointing out they are the same people. Just as they are the same people who broke Thatcher's anti union laws by striking in support of nurses.
Not the selfish, nasty people that some here think.0 -

If I was to vote it would be for the BNP!0
