get the electronic cover with it----doubles as a stand an shuts off iPad at exact web page u want to return to

you bought one outright and then got a contract!?

For some reason, not quite sure why but I fancy buying an ipad. My daughter has one and seen the grandchildren playing on one. Think it would be good to take on holidays as I do sit on the computer quite a bit at home, but unsure which one to go for. Retina display one seems to be the latest, but unsure what the difference is and there is also ipad 2 etc. Just need a bit of guidance please, as I want to buy the best and not find out I've made a mistake afterwards.

iPad Mini if you are after something that will fit in a small-ish bag, otherwise iPad with Retina display (aka iPad 4).

Give it a few weeks, Apple will probably announce the iPad 5 & iPad Mini 2 and axe the iPad 2.

that won't happen unless you buy used or refurb. iMac were once £800 for cheapest, then £1000, now £1099. and im sure the imac isnt retina display...? it's not advertised as such... but they wont drop price in advance of a new model, they just change the product line up...

I myself wanted an iMac, but have decided instead to get a £650 Mac Mini. i already have a monitor keyboard and mouse so it's much cheaper. im even considering adding a fusion drive which will still keep the price under £1000.
