I have received a court summons for non payment of TV licensing after receiving a visit from an officer from Capita, I know I haven't payed it, I am a student and I completely forgot I have my assignments on my mind day and night, is there any way I can speak to the courts and agree to pay without having to go to court? I know I will be able to pay it before the court date is due. I have also called TV and set up a new TV license with them, currently just waiting for a payment card to be sent in the post. Will non payment of TV show up on DBS check?
