Looking for the silver lining

Hi SA.
I'm so glad they're getting Mr SA a lot more mobile before he comes home. After a long slog it looks like he's finally turning a corner.
Taxi's death was such a bolt out of the blue. Like you I had a good cry earlier. This disease is so unfair and cruel...but in time we will defeat it.

Still shocked kissjenn. Have done 30 day shred before and done all 3 levels but fear I may have to start from beginning again! Love how everything is done and dusted in 20 minutes.
Was debating whether to stay home tomorrow and clean up etc or go into town for coffee and croissant and wander round shops. After finding out about taxi (sorry but every time I think about it it guts me!) have decided to go for the more enjoyable option (town) as life is too short. Actually I need to get prezzie for work mate who is retiring in 2 weeks so good excuse.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Life is indeed way to short.

I don't want to spend money...I want to save it so SB is looked after all his life.
I feel guilty in advance that I won't be there to look after him forever...cancer or no cancer.
I feel my mortality tonight. I'm very sad that such a lovely person is gone. There is no logic to what we see of life, just a roll of the dice.
I hope there is an afterlife and that Taxi is welcomed in with open arms. No more pain or terror, remember chemo last time? No one should have to go through that.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
I wish I had some words but as ever all I can say is that there have been times in my life when this place, this forum and my wonderful wonderful friends have seen me through.
This is the great strength of this place

I consider everybody on this forum a friend. I can come on and just talk especially about things I don't want to worry my family about. I know people here don't judge me, just support me.
After recently losing my dad to this horrible disease( and it was quick, I was on holiday when it happened), I pray for a cure. I don't care how long it takes Mr SA to get better, just as long as he does. Times like these are hard for you SA, it brings it home. No matter how hard it gets, keep going.
Just to add, I did the 30 day shred once...and it was only the once. Now sold to musicmagpie.
big hugs to all.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -

But you have a lot of trouble to cause yet ... And of we get our way you'll be needing a bloody big pension to last you till your atleast 100 ...0 -
