Finally broke up from work for 10 whole days :)

Big Mr M delivery today but still need a few bits from Aldi tomorrow, not much though.

This lunchtime went to the pub very handily next door to work with my colleagues for Fizz Friday :) Although we had a bottle of Prosecco between 5 of us and we had to go back to work it was still lovely.

Really need to wrap presents and still haven't got the batteries for DGS's fire engine.

  • Hurrah you're on holiday . I like the fact that Christmas eve is a Sunday because we can be nicely chilled by Christmas day (apart from wrapping a zillion presents and making the house presentable).

Fizz Friday sounds like it should be adopted by everyone in the country :rotfl:.

    Have a lovely weekend :xmassmile.

Up early, hoping to go to Aldi when it opens at 8am if I can motivate Mr SA. We'll take the dog so the walk will kill two birds with one stone and Mr SA can wait outside on his scooter with her. Then I can load up the scooter with the shopping. I don't need much just the last few bits including the batteries!

After that I want to get the cleaning done, then we're going to our local for lunch, followed by present wrapping with Baileys and Christmas music (hopefully this will coincide with Mr SA's siesta).

We were supposed to be putting DD's wardrobe up but we really need a clear day for that, and she's in no rush, so that will be put on a back burner for next week.

Have a fab Christmas Saturday everyone :)

Aldi not too bad but can't believe they didn't have any smoked salmon. Ended up going to the Co-op.

Got quite a few bargains in Aldi but savings probably cancelled out by not being able to get my £1 back out of the trolley and Mr SA losing the seeds I bought for my nut roast on the way home :( He suggested I use bird seed instead - not funny!

Had a lovely lunch at the local then came home and wrapped presents with a Baileys and Christmas music :) Started getting fed up of wrapping though - started off being really careful but the last couple are a bit slapdash.

I'll still need to go out tomorrow unbelievably as I forgot to get some rocket. Should only be about £1 though.

I WILL be more organised next year :rotfl:
